Does Marketing Overwhelm you? Please Read This!

Hey guys!

For the longest time I couldn't handle going any further with IM or AM because it all sounded so dang complicated!


I would see affiliate marketing and go: "oh geez, marketing. . . Writing articles. . . Building websites. . . Adwords. . . Adsense. . . Keyword research. . . Facebook. . . Twitter. . . Social bookmarking sites. . . EEEEEEEEEECCKKK! Too much! too overwhelming!"

Or so I thought. . .

It was like being in a big room named Marketing and pointing to the ceiling fan then the couch then quickly to the recliner and again too the oven, microwave, kitchen table. All of these thing would metaphorically represent another aspect of affiliate marketing. It would make my brain explode! "It never ends I thought!" "So much to do! How will I ever do it all?!"

If this sounds like your mindset then take a breather! Ready, In, out! Relax!

It's all about how you look at at it.

I used to feel how you feel but here's what I did:

I metaphorically speaking, Reached out my arms across the room and just gathered everything into one pile. I consolidated all of the things in affiliate marketing and looked at it all as if I was cradling the whole thing in my arms. It didn't look so overwhelming afterall.

Then, I wrote down a list of everything marketing would require of me on a basic but almost complete level.

I came up with only enough things to fill a single page. Something along these lines:

• Building basic website/article sites/Blogging
• Adsense
• PPC
• Twitter/Facebook/+1 Google
• Keyword research
• write articles and preselling them
• YouTube
• A few website tweaks
• Social bookmarking
• Craigslist
• yahoo answers
• Forums
• Press releases
• Building email lists
• RSS feeds
• Wordpress. . .

If you think about it that is pretty much all AM seems to entail. Maybe you can think of a few more but those are the basics, right?

And don't forget that probably the hardest part of affiliate marketing is getting ideas for and writing content. It is for me anyway. That's what 90% of AM is all about, content! So if you can master that then everything else seems easy, right?

So just consolidate all of your overwhelming worry on the ins and outs of AM and just look at it in that different view. You may very well find that when you write those things down that they can't even fill up a whole page.

It doesn't seem so complicatedly crazy when you look at it like THAT, does it?


Once you see the things AM entails just think like this:

Good Keyword research>Writing content with preselling>maybe getting a few backlinks>Get traffic>Monetize

It you look at it like that it really can be quite simple!



Just remember: CONTENT IS KING!

If you can get through that hurdle the rest should be a snap.
