Day 22: Completed Bootcamp Phase 2
Happy to say I managed to finish the second phase of the affiliate bootcamp! Seemed to go slower than phase one but I hope that means I was paying more attention to the lessons and taking time with quality content.
Feeling a bit unsure of what to expect at my niche site for the upcoming weeks as Google's new algorithim rolls into place; hopefully nothing groundbreaking occurs. What are your expectations for this new update?
I had an experience today where someone asked me how much money I was making with WA. They were meaning well but it was pretty hard to admit I'm making practically nothing. But on the other hand, this was really good motivation for me to work even harder and keep plugging away!
How long did it take you to start making a consisten income? I'm currently at six months with under $1 to show for it, which is tough to write if I'm honest. The again, while I can't see results in terms of cash, I can see huge results in terms of my understanding of affiliate marketing, which is possibly even more useful.
Money can be spent and lost, but that knowledge should prove useful for a very long time!

Thanks for dropping by. I'm at the six month mark with around two or three months being the 'hard work' months. Seem to fit most with the month 3 stats, apart from the sales part.
Bear in mind that those traffic stats are for my niche site and my bootcamp site has been around much less time. Was this taken from certification or bootcamp training?
Honestly, Benji, I don't remember where I found it, but I saved it as it was something I wanted to refer to. But, I seem to wind up sharing it too as it is a kind of road map of what is possible.
You are getting there with your traffic numbers. Keep the faith, it will happen for you as it has for others.
Hi Benjamin. Not having done bootcamp as yet I'm not sure what the conversion ratio is expected to be. But I do know that, in the none internet age, most marketers looked at a 3% conversion ratio (at the vey least). Going by those figures you should have joined up at least 12 people last month leading to 1 premium (12% average conversion). Maybe you need to have someone (plenty of experts here at WA) take a look at your blogs. JIm
Sorry, I should have made it clearer. The stats are for my niche site, not my bootcamp site. That's my bad. Still may be helpful to check in with an expert though :)
