You can use a plugin but that's not the best thing to do. The best thing is to change to a theme that is mobile responsive
Hello all, I am trying to sign up to Avantlink + merchant. Whenever I enter the form information, I get this error:

I just tried it myself and I got the same error. I tried all the http, https, not putting any htt. I don't know what is going on.
Just thought I would let you know its not just you.
All the best,

Thanks, I emailed them and they said it has to be the domain written like this https://hiking-prep.com/ which still didn't work for me but they are able to do manual lookup of some kind on their end and put you through that way.
Maybe the http part is in the field twice, or is not required to be included at all. Some input fields do not work if you include http.
Be sure to refresh the page each time you try.
If that's not it, try adding it without the "s" after http.

See if that helps. It does not affect the security of your site. If that isn't it, post again. ~Jude

Hey Ben,
I just took a peek at your profile, it shows you completed course 1, where are you now? Adding affiliate links is covered in Course 3, so if you're going through the Certification, you'll get everything you need to know.
Thanks for the response! I went up through course 3 but skipped the asking for feedback portions. I am planning to revisit those once I get a few links in and it looks like something. I am adding content daily to achieve that. I'm just trying to get a good feel for things in the mean time due to my excitement.
It took me a while to get comfortable enough to receive comments and feedback, but I found - and still find - them to to be invaluable. All the best to you, Ben!

If I select one of the Wordpress themes, am I able to change attributes such as background color? I am new to Wordpress and have poked around a bit looking for code that I can
You will find the options available for your current theme in WP Appearances > Customize.
Some free themes offer more options than others.
That's where you would look to see what theme options are available.
See SCREENSHOT.
You can, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about the look of your website, especially if it requires you to delve into the code. There's going to be plenty of time to tweak it once it's an earning business! :)
That said, if you're looking for a lot of easily accessibly options in a theme, have a look at a theme like Customizr which is popular with many members at WA. https://wordpress.org/themes/customizr/
There's also extensive documentation on using it here:

Hey Ben,
You BET, you can alter any WordPress theme. Just be sure to install a child theme to do your alterations in so that your changes will stay in place with each new update a theme will take place. One-Child Child Theme by tychay Hope this helps you.
