So, my site is getting there, but I haven't started adding posts yet. I feel good about the pages I have there and I know they'll get better over time as I tweak them. But today I wanted to get in there and start writing content. I have a thousand ideas and I could start writing - I decided not to. Why? I realized that I have a tendency to get too excited and jump in too quickly. This is what leads to me burning out. Instead, I am playing the long game. So this is my new strategy:1) Plan ahead.

Just start. That's what I've been telling myself for months - possibly even years. But it's so much harder to do. At least that's what I thought. I've always been held back because I wanted to find the perfect idea, or write the perfect post, or...the excuses are endless. I'm going to suck, I'm going to fail, I'm going to survive and I'm going to succeed. Hopefully in that order ;). But none of this will happen if I don't just start.
