Ambition and Distraction
That's right, I feel like I am living two of the Alice in Wonderland corruptions of arithmetic. (Not using the other two, Derision and Uglification, too negative).
If you haven't read the famous 1865 book you might not be familiar with these. These are from the story of the Mock Turtle, about his education in the sea, from an old Tortoise who "tort us".
Unfortunately this character and storyline, as well as the Gryphon who took Alice to meet the turtle, have been cut from most big movie adaptations of Alice in Wonderland. But he has been played by the likes of Cary Grant, and Ringo Starr from the Beatles. The latter was in a 1985 TV version that I still enjoy.
In the picture from a Disney commercial, is the Mock Turtle, as he was designed for the animated 1951 movie before being cut out.
He also appears in a photograph in the 2010 movie.

I haven't posted here in over two weeks. A lot has been going on.
I was thinking about my distractions during a walk down by the pond today. It is so nice, the grass is so green here, and the trees are all sprouting little leaves now.
I have been very distracted with other things. I have been finding it very difficult to finish any of the various long article drafts I have started for my website. I think I actually prefer making videos. I spent a couple of weeks working actively on adding videos to my YouTube channel, mostly videos I recorded last year on Facebook, but a few new ones as well.
I am also watching lots of training courses. They are wonderful, It's hard to pick one to give up.
I'm learning from leaders like Kate McShea, Bob Proctor, Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi, and Tony and Dean's guest speakers like Russell Brunson.
Most of these trainings are for 5 days or more. I have also done a couple that taught specific marketing skills.
I learned about the power of focusing in one of these. Dean Graziosi talked about the Dot. This is a really really specific group of people you are going to help with a very specific problem. Everyone has something like this that they can do. It is pretty much the same thing as our affiliate website niche, but he was more focused on creating a course rather than a blog.
We have also learned about thinking of sales as a way of giving service.
So the Ambition in my headline is trying to do everything. I have more time now that I gave up my job and have gone full-time in business. But I am still limited to 168 hours per week, and obviously I have to leave time for sleep, eating, bathing, and doing personal tasks like entertainment and cleaning. So I may have bitten off more than I could chew these couple of weeks.
Next week I expect will be better. More focused on my actual business tasks.
Are you on any of these training challenges too? I believe nearly 1 million people have been watching Tony and Dean. What have you learned from them that resonated the strongest?

Distraction turns up and ambition flies far away, looks like you are juggling a few balls, there Bryce. I think we all need to get to the point where we keep the balls that count in the air with that expert authority.
Best wishes as you continue to grow your online presence.
Alex
Bryce, you are still being productive and that is what counts
Continue to keep the ball rolling
I'm still struggling with distraction but determined to do better. Thanks for your encouragement and support!
