Motivation, Never Give Up
I'm 19 an age most people think know nothing about life. The generation before us criticizes us so much it's not even a joke. Although I'm young, I find that I have a keen sense of observation, I pick up thing people don't usual expect other people too. You maybe wondering where I'm going with this, and i'll tell you.
I'm talking about when things don't go your way and you feel like giving up, those months and days that are continuously filled with frustration and anger. Trust me I know that feeling. I'm telling you this because of what happened to me and still happening in fact at WA.
I started my first website ever, you know a 19 year old is going to be motivated and overly excited about that. In that excitement I didn't even take my time to research what Niches were hot in the market. I decided I loved basketball shoe, so I was going to target upcoming basketball players to help them find the shoe for them. But 2 months down the line I found myself getting frustrated and bored writing about Basketball shoes. I wasn't getting comments interactions, traffic, nothing like that. And you can imagine working hard on something for 2 months and you're not seeing process. So what did I do ?......... GIVE UP !?.....WRONG ..... I focused my anger I found a solution to my problem. Because really and truly what would exploding do, for sure not bring me success.
So being RESILENT, I sat and figured out what I should do. First thing would be to add more content to the site, but I was having so much problems writing content on that topic anymore. So I went to plan B. What is plan B you ask ? Started from the bottom AGAIN. Yeah I created a whole new website. At first I was like; create a whole new website after going this far that's a lot of work. But I want to be successful, so I put that thought outta my mind and just started from scratch. Can you guess what happened...well can you.
In 1 day I had all my website settings up and running, and had 3 pages competed and published. By day 2 I got 2 comments (that may seem small, but it's a improvement to me from 0-2 in less than 24 hours ) lets not forget I got 6 +1 on google plus. And finding content to write about is becoming simpler and simpler everyday. My new website is doing much better than my 1st one.
All in All what I'm saying is
1. Your going to encounter obstacles. It's about how you handle it
2. Be Patient don't get ahead of yourself
3. Focus your energy into fixing the problem, rather than giving up.
