3 Months at Wealthy Affiliate & My First Break!
Hello Friends!
It has officially been 3 months since I signed up for Wealthy Affiliate! This is very exciting and has quite literally flown by. Where has the time gone since New Years?!
I have made more progress than I could have ever imagined and I am very excited for the months to come. To keep myself accountable & up to date, as of today:
- I have published 24 posts on my blog (with 3 unpublished and ready to go)
- I have completed the Certification training
- I have 154 comments on my blog
- My WA network has grown to 331 friends (thank you everyone!)
- My Google+ following has gone from 0 to 244 followers
- I have joined Bo's GoGetters and am keeping up with his training to help me build my site and my traffic
While all this progress has happened, I also decided to take a break over the past few days. Between my full time job and WA I had not had a true day off in 3 months and I was feeling the burnout coming. My husband and I also had a friend come to town to visit, so it seemed like the perfect time to take a few days off to relax and spend some time with them.
It felt good, but I really missed WA. I am now on Spring Break from school, so time to get some serious work done so I am well-prepared to go back to work in 2 weeks (Yeah, we get 2 weeks for Spring Break where I live, thank goodness!)
But even on my "time off" I was still technically working on my blog. I write a blog about books, and I spent much of the past few days reading voraciously. In other words, I have lots of new ideas for content and reviews! So after 3 days it was time to return to Wealthy Affiliate...I missed you guys!
In the 3 months to come I would like to see the following things happen:
- Reach 50 published posts on my blog
- See my first affiliate sale
- Increase my Google+ and WA networks to about 500 people each
- See regular traffic on my website (how much isn't so important right now, just that it is consistent)
Big thank you to everyone who has reached out to me in the last 3 months. I have appreciated your help, guidance and kindness more than words can describe.
Time to go back to work...until next time friends!

Awesome with your accomplishment. Your are dedicated and you will be successful in the long run.
Best of luck to you.
Thank you Rick! And you are very welcome. Sharing this kind of stuff has helped keep me on track and given me more opportunities to interact with all you wonderful WA members, so it has certainly been worth it.
I knew within the first week that WA was going to be a great success for me, in the near future, but what I did not expect was how incredible, encouraging and helpful the WA community was and is.
Rick
