Due Diligence
So I am doing due diligence on deciding to upgrade to premium membership or not. Here's the thing - 47USD is a lot of money in South African Rands (about 650 of them). It is a lot of money to invest every month, especially out of a single, self-employed mom's budget. But I'll pay it gladly if I knew for sure that this will work. I also see a lot of other newbies wondering the same thing - do I upgrade or not?
I know most of my success in this depends on me - how diligently I use what I am being taught and my willingness to work. And yes, I am already learning stuff as a newbie. But considering I knew absolutely nothing about Internet marketing to begin with that's really not a big deal.
I have read all the comments on the "upgrade now page". But none of them really answer the deciding questions for me. And they all seem a bit too positive and upbeat (now I sound cynical and jaundiced). The real proof of a quality education is in the proverbial pudding. So whilst it may be impolite to ask, I am going to anyway. What I really want to know is:
- How many members have taken what they learned here (at either starter or premium level) and turned it into an online business - not just a WA site (there's nothing wrong with that at all, but I am looking for more), but an online business either using other affiliate programs or your own product/service?
If you can answer yes to the first question, then please answer the questions below.
- How long did it take you to make your first income (regardless of amount)?
- How many hours a week are you putting in? (And how has that time changed since you started?)
- How much are you making? Less than 1000USD per month; 1000-5000USD per month; over 5000USD per month.
- How many online businesses are you running to realise that income?

I am in the middle of upgrading to premium. I am ok with the first month as the discounted amount is affordable for me. But for the following months, it will be difficult for me to maintain to be a premium member.
How is the progress with you now?

My progress is slow as I have full time job and a child.
I am focussing on building great content (lots of research for that content and how best to put that content across for audience and search engines) before adding loads of affiliate links so not making any money as yet but it has only been a month. I am hoping that by 6 weeks my wa affiliate site will be completely built with menus in place and then it is just a matter of adding content and gaining traffic.
This is a slow process but I want to do it right and great first. Nothing worse than landing on a site that has poorly written content and loads of links and email autoresponders that pop up as soon as you land.
