I got a WARNING from Wealthy Affiliate!

This is what my reaction was the other day when I logged on the other day. Was this a warning from the bosses at Wealthy Affiliate? What have I done that I was not aware of?

It wasn't a warning. It was a notice to inform me that I had made the Top 200. This was exciting because it served to confirm that I was moving forward. I haven't been here for 2 months yet so as much as I was thrilled about this, I was also very shocked. I actually didn't think that it was possible to get to where I have in this amount of time.

Let me explain .....

A cry for help!

Entering into the world of online affiliate marketing was a massive step for me. I am not a sales person for starters and my knowledge of the internet was more than just minimal. It was downright bottom-of-the-barrel-basic. I had the audacity to think that I could make this happen for me so I went for it. Full steam ahead.

I needed help and LOTS of it. I asked and I did research. I looked through the volumes of tutorials and blogs here at WA. I spent hours working and piecing things together. All this was only possible though because of all the help that I received from the community here at WA.

Kyle and Carson are very much in favor of "paying it forward" and they encourage us to help each other in a variety of ways. I became part of many discussion threads and whenever someone had a comment or a query or a praise item, I was alerted to it in my notifications tab. In this "paying it forward" approach I was able to offer my comments and opinions and in return receive very valuable feedback form others.

I know I am not alone when I say that this is a word that we all use. Every time we ask a question it is prefaced by the often times unspoken word, "Help!".

Question time???

Many are being added to our number by the hour (if not by the minute, actually). I realized that others were asking about things that I didn't have the answer to and I was damned if I wasn't going to get back to them with an answer. I had a tool....

THE SEARCH BAR at the top of the page. This is where the answers were. They would ask and I would do a search. I would read and learn, and then share it with them and direct them to the same place that I got my help from. This became a daily thing which is like a muscle that I have been excercising rigorously for weeks now. I can't tell you how much the questions asked by others have been instrumental in teaching me.

The potential to learn by helping others with the answer that they need is immeasurable. I know that I have not always necessarily given the correct answer but thankfully those in the know have quickly responded with a more accurate solution. AND, I have now learnt something new as well. Thank you for jumping in to the rescue.

I had a look at the little blue rank button and saw that my status was "Helper". This is what shocked me because little does the Wealthy Affiliate algorithm realize that it is actually me who has been the one that has been helped so much.

Thanks WA for an amazing facillity that you provide to educate us and motivate us to achieve.
