I Finished The First 10 Lessons

Hi everyone,

I am now finished with the first 10 lessons here at WA. As I was going through the lessons I've had some realizations. First, I've been over complicating internet marketing. I used to be more concerned with backlinks, link wheels, social bookmarking and all that other stuff that supposedly will make you rank number 1 in Google and make you a Gozillionaire, rather than quality content. I used to hate writing content because I had this belief that it had to be "perfect." My thinking on that has changed now after going through the first 10 lessons. I feel much more at ease with writing, and now look forward to writing content for my website.

I've also realized that you must take your time with your websites. There is no rush. It's okay to have a sense of urgency to make yourself motivated to take action. However, take your time and make sure you are giving your niche what they want. In the past, I was so obsessed with "making money," that I would try and spit out a website as soon as possible. Of course, my websites didn't live up to their full potential because of it. The first 10 lessons have taught me that internet marketing is about small consistent steps overtime.

My advice to those getting started is:

1. Don't over complicate things. There is top notch training here at WA. Just follow it, and if you need help ask for it. You may even personally message me if you would like and I will help you to the best of my ability.
2. Focus on your niche rather than money. Although money is what we want, from my experience, if you are more focused on that rather than quality content for your niche; you will end up with crappy websites.
3. Take small consistent steps daily. That could be anything; from coming up with new ideas for your website, learning something new, or helping someone out. Just do something that moves your business forward.

Thank you Kyle and Carson for putting together this fantastic training to help all of us succeed. Thank you to those who have helped me out so far. I hope you all can take something from this blog post.
