I wanted to take a minute to talk about balancing work ,life ,and WA oh yeah and trying to have some kind of fun somewhere in the middle.so I have one job as an operator putting gas in the ground, and weekends I work for a tree guy/landscaper.right now I’m trying to average about 2 hours a day with WA but it’s been getting harder the hotter it gets because work gets real busy during these next few months.also would love to get out every now and again on my bike and or play volleyball, just to get away from it all for a min to regroup.just never enough time for everything.this usually leads to not putting 100%into anything which is never a good.so What are some ways to balance it all out.by sacrificing the now for the later.I love this community and all the help u get here.when I go to the training I never want to stop.I want to keep being the sponge and soak it all up.so I think for me the way to get more time in is to never sleep.lol OK that’s not possible.so how do u Balance your lives.

Well written mark. Can't take a step without considering it!

Thank you mr kearns, have a great day

Hi: Just know this, if you can stick with it long enough to get plenty of content on your site, lots of reviews and such, and start getting traffic to it, then you can work less on it. You'll still need to check in on it once or twice a week to keep it current but it won't be as stressful once you see that it is working and starting to earn a few bucks.
Good luck! Fran

Hi fran, thank you for the encouragement.im not going anywere .i love it here my sacrifice would never be my future.i might on the other hand quit one of my jobs to put more time here.have a great day.

I don’t have a second weekend job (although I probably should for the $$), and I’m still not spending the time on my site that I would like. Mind you I’d like it to be my day job lol.

I set unrealistic goals for my site initially and I found it was putting undue pressure on me, and the quality of my content suffered for a few posts as I just wanted to get those 3 posts a week up.

I’ve dialed it back to two posts a week, understanding that this will then take me longer to reach my goals.

Probably not much help on the whole work/life balance thing and I look forward to reading what others have to suggest.

But for me I want to enjoy this process of learning and I don’t do stress, so I changed my expectations and I’m ok with that.

Thank you heidi for your feedback.this is why i love this place.for knowledge is power.honestly i wish i started this in winter when i was laid off.lol

Yep I have some annual leave and a bit of long service and I was seriously thinking about taking it just to immerse myself in my site and really get it ticking along.

But I've decided to just work at it as I can, learn and implement as I go, it will take time to rank and get authority anyway, so I will trust that my time will come.
