Liar, liar ghost
Once again I am writing about something that isn't particularly about being an affiliate nor about creating a business. Unless of course, you are a person who is in the business of hurting people by deception, lying and manipulation.Please understand my friends here at WA I am not implying in any way that anyone here at WA is in those types of businesses.I write about this because I am a victim of a 'romantic fraud'.The realization of this just occurred at the end of February, and ever since then my focus has been diverted and challenged to say the least. Challenges involving trust, not just in people in general, but also with myself. Forcing me to look at my gullibility, my perceptions, and my naivety.Conversely, the power of having a dream met after a lifetime of denial seemed to be worthy of giving small tokens of gratitude to the who was going to fullfill that cherished desire. It was just small frivolous objects, in the beginning. With each month the cost amounting to the loss of my rent. Unrest erupting now in the need to beg my landlord to allow me to work out a payment plan for that month's rent. And allowing me to stay.As time dreamingly crept onward, I was rudely awakened to yet another shock to my innermost values. I was called a 'criminal' by a bank personal because my beloved had tried to put fraudulent cheques into my bank account, twice.I just didn't want to believe that this was happening to me. All the plans we had made together over the space of thirteen months where 'what'?There is much more to this situation but needn't be written here. I only wrote about it because, for the moment, shame is impregnating my every thought. Clouding my sense of worthiness, my sense of culpability, my sense of responsibility and eroding my ever so fragile sense of trust.

please do not be ashamed because, I have been through the same thing several times - more naiive than gullible and more because I am such a romantic and never thinking that I would fall into the same trap over and over again. You end up feeling like the guilty one and blaming yourself for what was done to you.
There are people out there who are just pure evil, who have no feelings and will always hunt those who are vulnerable and trusting like us.
So spend some time to heal, and you will heal, and, whatever emotions you are going through right now,will make you much stronger once you pass through this storm.

SnazzylT, Thank you for your assurance. Once the reality of this situation came full focused I started reading about persons, men and women, who have been robbed - some in the thousands of dollars. Even one woman was taken for over one million dollars.
I have reported this to the police. I am aware that nothing will come of it, but it was important for me to this. The officer also arranged for the Victim Su8pport Service team to come see me. They will come tomorrow.

are ready to do anything to make us fall into a trap.

us while they are smiling so that we don't mistrust.

Him impersonating himself as a Christian where we would pray together for each other and we would send accolades of Christian encouragement all of which darkens any amount of faith I previously possessed in people.
Ingrid, your imagery is well spoken in this situation. It is the imagery of people that I have had to fight against all of my life.
