Empty
Empty.
She sat bawled up in the corner.
Lost.
Broken.
As if she was a lifeless stream of water.
Heart ripped in half.
Questioning her existence.
Tormented by her past.
She felt empty like a broken mason jar lying next to her.
Thoughts racing.
Is it even worth it?
Am I worth it?
She thought of happier times.
Tears pouring from her face.
This cannot be it.
She cried in agony.
Take this pain.
Somebody.
Anybody.
Can’t you see I’m dying inside?
Then suddenly she felt a rush.
Confused she gathered her strength.
She got on her knees and whispered silently.
Can you hear me?
I feel so empty.
The tears kept streaming down her red hot face.
Suddenly out of nowhere she felt a peace unlike anything she had ever felt.
A hand on her shoulder.
In that moment she knew everything was gonna be okay.
She looked up to Heaven.
Smiled
And
Never looked back.
