Fighting against an invisible enemy-My Brain?
Today I find myself thinking about how negative thoughts affect our progress. Not just here at WA but with life in general.
Some common negative thoughts that come to my mind are:
I can't do this
What makes me special?
I don't have time to complete these things.
I am not smart enough.
There are many others thoughts can plague our minds with doubt. Combating these thoughts can be a struggle and time consuming in itself.
If a person suffers through these thoughts enough it is easy to start believing them even though they are fallacies.
The Solution
I find the only way to combat this thought process is to actively use positive self talk. State each day why you can do what you are trying to accomplish. Remind yourself what you have already accomplished. Make time where you think you have none. Remember that intelligence is vastly different for every individual and that people are smart in different ways.
I find myself combating these types of thoughts often, especially when I try something new. So many things telling me I cant do it and I have to fight and say , yes I can.
YES I CAN!
I can do anything I put my mind to and I will keep trying no matter what!

Amazing reminder! Yes, we all are capable of doing anything we put our mind to.
I like the idea of the accomplish list. One of my mentors once advised me to make an accomplish list instead of to do list to see how much I've actually achieved so far in my life. This is a true game changer.
I agree, looking at what you have already accomplished definitely puts things in a more positive perspective.
