Month 2 Progress

This will sound like a big whine, but I feel being honest about how I'm feeling will give others a chance to voice how they feel and not feel alone. Let's be honest, the community here is pretty cool, so who has time for games?

I like the learning that I am receiving here. I have never ever been in a class that I loved, but I do admit to really enjoying myself and the WA community. I love that there is so much support. I never have to wait long for an answer. I wait for my husband to text me back longer than my WA peeps!!

Getting to my business of the day. I am a little discouraged that I have been learning for two months and have not made any money off that. Let's be honest again here: we are in this to make money first, and enjoy making money doing what we love second. If not, may I please get your number cuz I wanna be like you! :)

I am not a quitter. My tag on my email used to be, "I haven't failed if I've tried" and I stand by that. I just feel like I wanna skip over stuff that will take me right to the jackpot. I know I can't do that though. It would be so awesomesauce though if we could spend a couple of lessons and then hear the change ca-ching! Money is a motivator.

Look, I know it sounds like I am a whiner, but I do realize this is not something that will happen overnight. What I have realized is, all these other ventures that promised money and I had an even lesser education about what I was doing were dishonest. WA never told me I'd get rich tomorrow. They were honest and said if I work at it, I will succeed. I tell myself everyday that I have to be patient. This will work. Nothing that I have put this much effort into is a failure. I do worry sometimes that since I'm unemployed I am putting extra pressure on myself. I get it. Soon, I don't know where my monthly amount is coming from, but I gotta believe that this is my path. I've sold items on Craigslist and eBay, and I even had a yard sale to get junk outta the house and money in the bank for my monthly fee. I really want this to work. So it should. Darn-it! lol

So? I will continue on, and I am getting excited (while still wanting to hear the ca-ching!...just sayin) for those days when I will learn about the things that will make me money money money money!!! Just kidding. No, I'm serious. ;)

How do you feel at your point in the game right now? I hope you know you're not alone. It is just going to take us continuing to work together at learning something new and being patient enough for the result to manifest itself. We are getting building blocks. I have:

Set up my site

Set up my Google authorship

Learned how to add a new post on my blog

Added some cool WA peeps to my Goggle+ profile

Enjoyed having something to look forward to in my day besides dirty nappies and lunchtimes

Going forward: I am so excited to learn the stuff that will make me understand more about blogging and making money doing it. I want to set up my WA affiliate site and start learning about affiliate sites I can be a part of. Those lessons are coming, I peeked. I hope you are doing well. I hope you are excited about your future, and I hope if you are not, you'll be honest with yourself about the expectations and time you are putting in. Do they balance? Most days mine don't and that's on me. Again, just being honest.
