Everyone I know, well almost everyone, wants to know how to earn passive income from home without spending a lot of money. My first answer is normally something like, 'you will have to pay something in the form of money AND time.' The latter is unavoidable. Let me explain.
HOW TO EARN PASSIVE INCOME FOR BEGINNERS
If you were to Google, what is passive income, you would get a few definitions that basically mean the same thing. However, I'm going to simplify it for you and tell you my own similar meaning. Passive income is a type of unearned income that is gained with hardly any effort.
That sounds great, doesn't it? Well there is a caveat to that statement and most make money from home opportunities that claim "Passive Income" will not tell you the following. Though it is true you will earn money without much effort, this cannot happen without much effort.
HUH!?! Simply put, in order to make passive income without working hard to gain that money, you need to take the time to learn and set up your business. Your goal is to have a way to earn while sleeping. This is how successful entrepreneurs like Warren Buffet, make their money.
Once you set up the way you will earn this type of income, if done correctly, it will generate payments for you on autopilot. For example, I have an affiliate account with a company that sells an in-demand disposable product and every time a sale is made, I get paid a percentage.
There are a few ways I can advertise these products without having to spend a lot of money. I can verbally tell people where they can buy these items, post links on social media and or create a website with the information. In my opinion it is best to do all three to maximize revenue.
It is also my opinion, and that of many others like myself, that the best passive income for beginners is with Affiliate Marketing. This is a very low-cost approach that can be quite rewarding, because once you are up and running, earning that passive income is automatic.
THE BEST AFFILIATE MARKETING FOR BEGINNERS
There are thousands of companies all over the world with affiliate programs you can join for free and earn passive income. Companies as large as Amazon to smaller ones like TeePublic, offer affiliate programs where you can make money. I find affiliate marketing to be beginner friendly.

HOW I MAKE PASSIVE INCOME
When I became a member of Wealthy Affiliate, I had a different viewpoint as to what affiliate marketing really was. I pictured it in my head as something like network marketing or Amway. I was wrong and happily so. Affiliate marketing is the best way for me to make passive income.
After taking the online training at WA and building my first two websites, spending about 6 hours a day Monday to Friday, I was so excited when I got my first passive affiliate marketing income 8 months later. This sale took place at 3:13 am. I was making money while sleeping.
When I checked my email the next morning and saw that affiliate payment email, I KNEW that the WA training really works. From that point on I was searching for various niches I could earn revenue from. I currently have one large and five smaller affiliate commission accounts.
The largest income is $3,000+ per month and the five smaller ones bring in about $500 per month combined. The best part of all this has to do with the fact that I do not have to do anything to make this money. I put the effort in when I started and now I'm on autopilot.
Now I am free to either start up another passive income opportunity or just sit back and enjoy what I am already making. I feel that it is prudent, especially with the uncertainty of the future, to start up another avenue of income. You should never earn income from only one source.

I feel the same way Mike. I'm not leaving WA anytime soon. It truly is a success story in itself, starting back in 2005, 19 years old and still growing strong.
You’ve been around a long time. I remember why rayon Moran was like one of the biggest promoters of WA. I’m not sure if he is still around. He was the one that got me interested into WA.
There are still a lot of OG's here at WA. I see their accounts listed within the top 200 ranks. Many are not super active, but they are still here. WA has so much to offer that it just makes sense to stick around, even if it's only for using the hosting and AI tools.

This is very encouraging! I have also tried other affiliate marketing programs, but didn't make money. I have just deleted my accounts with them (including my WA's 2016 account, which I now regret). I agree with you that WA is the best choice, especially if one can afford it, and if one loves to share information.
I have decided to keep my premium membership going, by all means. This is because I love writing and sharing ideas. I have written and independently published 100 titles on Amazon, and I have many more manuscripts on my hard drive.

Exactly! A person doesn't have to spend a lot of money to get started and build their online business, especially here at WA. What is required is making a consistent effort, which will make things easier in the long run.

Once again I agree. The great thing about being part of WA is learning all of the nuances of affiliate marketing and the various ways one can earn income with it.
Obviously having and affiliate website and gaining free traffic using SEO is a great way to succeed on a low budget. However we can also succeed without a website in certain niches.
Regardless of which way a person decides to go in creating their affiliate business and earning that passive income, the education offered here is vital and the basic premium level is sufficient.
It boils down to gaining the knowledge of how affiliate marketing works and then applying that knowledge along with the execution of a plan. Nothing worthwhile happens without effort.

Though a website is desired, you can succeed in any niche without a website. I'm making more than $3000.00 per month in my healthcare niche without a website.
Making affiliate commissions without a website is not a niche specific thing. It all depends on the requirements of the affiliate program you join.
For example, you can earn affiliate commissions from promoting WA without a website. When joining an affiliate program, check to see if a website is required.

It helps tremendously if you are working in the niche you are promoting and you have a direct connection to your audience, either in person and or through a large social media following.

I'm glad to hear of your achievements and your results. Been a member at least two years and I totally agree with you that it is a lot of effort in the beginning to see the results at a later time. I've been putting it off too long and I do agree that it is consistency and discipline to have a working website and several niches up and running.
