Google Page 1 Using 2025 In Title Early In 2026
WOW, That Was FAST!
I have always remembered from an experiment I did my third year here at Wealthy Affiliate, that when you put the previous year in your post title early in the New Year, your post will make it onto Google Page 1.
Two days ago I posted a blog here at WA: Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories 2025 Reviews. I posted this WA Blog on January 2, 2026. Two days later it was ranked on Google Page 1, Position 1, Position 2, Position 3 and Position 7.
As I always do when using Google to see where I am ranked for a specific keyword, I use Google Incognito Mode because it searches with a clean cache and search history. I searched four different titles of my original keyword.

Before I wrote the blog here at WA I did a Jaaxy keyword search for Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories and one of the suggested keywords that had the best results in Traffic & SEO was Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories 2025.
The second best suggested keyword was Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories Reviews. Seeing how I knew that using the date of the previous year in the title as early as possible in the New Year, I combined both suggested keywords.
MY POST TITLE BECAME: Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories 2025 Reviews. Below are the results.
I first searched "Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories" without 2025 and the word Reviews. I was on Page 1 Position 1
Next I searched "Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories 2025" without the word Reviews. I was on Page 1 Position 3
NOTE I also searched "Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories Reviews" without 2025. I was on Page 1 Position 7.
Next I searched "Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories 2025 Reviews" my exact title. I was on Page 1 Position 2.
If you haven't learned by now, and I as well as other members here have been saying, that WA Blogs DO RANK high on Google if you use proper SEO keywords in your post titles. This will give you more views and possibly referrals.
RECAP: If you want to get Google Page 1 rankings for either your WA blogs or your website content, use the previous year in your title and publish this content as early in the New Year as possible. The earlier the better.

This is a great example of how smart keyword research + timing really works. Using the previous year in the title early in the New Year, combined with Jaaxy’s suggested keywords, clearly paid off—especially ranking for multiple variations, not just the exact title.

Though I knew it could be achieved, by using last years date in the title of a post early in the following year, I seriously didn't think it would have happened so fast.
It is also worth mentioning that it wasn't just the keyword of the title, but I also used the keyword and variations of it in my content of the post itself.
All of that together with the links to other "success stories" I believe also helped. I'm sure the rankings will come down once others start posting similar content, but it was nice to see so early on.

Nice work Rob, the posts here definitely do rank and they are a great way to get reach (you get full credit for any referrals generated through that blog post) and can also serve as good sources of traffic/revenue through time.

My pleasure Kyle. Jaaxy reminded me of using the date of 2025 in the title and I remember how I did this many times in the past. I then decided to post the success stories for both Google rankings and to motivate the members here within WA.

Can you search for posts or pages that ✅ have a date or year reference in the headline text ✅ have a year referenced in SEO titles, meta titles, or content
Only got 5 instances which was a bit surprising but good idea going forward I reckon.
