Does Your Favorite Store Do Affiliate Marketing
Have you ever been on the website of your favorite store and asked yourself, I wonder if they have an affiliate program? There is a really simple way to find out and I will give you some examples below. The beauty of affiliate marketing is that many retail websites of companies small and larger, participate in it.
HERE IS THE SIMPLE ANSWER & ACTION TO THIS QUESTION
Scroll down to the very bottom of the website page, where the sitemap of links reside. If you see the words "Affiliate Program" or "Affiliates" or "Become an Affiliate" then that retail website store offers an affiliate program. Click on those links to get the general and commission information of their affiliate program.
AMAZON (The largest online retailer has an affiliate program called "Amazon Associates")

You know how huge Amazon's catalog is, and though their commission and cookie duration is not the best, they do have practically EVERYTHING!
BASS PRO SHOPS (Also Cabela's, same company but different name)

The niches that are available are PLENTY, stemming from niche categories like: Boating, Camping, Fishing, Hunting and Clothing for Adults & Kids, to name a few. They offer up to 5% Commission on Sales and a 14 Day Cookie.
BEST BUY (More than just random Consumer Electronics)

These niches revolve around the broader niche of Consumer Electronics from a small smartphone to a laptop to a large TV and everything in between.
GAMESTOP (Perfect affiliate program for those in the video game niche)

GameStop is perfect for those who want to get into the video gaming niche. They sell everything from old used retro games to brand new video game systems. Many of the games I developed while in the video game industry, can still be found at GameStop. Check out my latest WA Blog about the video game niche, here.
SNAPDRAGON HEMP (Federally legal in the United States for sale and mailing)

Snapdragon Hemp is the perfect example of a smaller company with an affiliate program. They are only based in Tennessee and only a few locations in the Chattanooga area. They sell everything having to do with CBD, Delta-9 Edibles and THCa Flower, plus they "legally" ship all across the U.S. Hemp is federally legal because it's not marijuana.
STEINER SPORTS COLLECTIBLES (The BEST in 100% Authentic Sports Memorabilia)

Though Steiner Sports has a great reputation for 100% Authentic and Verified sports autographs, collectibles and memorabilia, they are based solely in Brooklyn, NY. Their merchandise covers all sports genres and can be shipped worldwide. Do you want an autographed Mickey Mantle baseball in a glass case? Steiner has many rare items.
IT IS THAT EASY
Now when you are on your favorite website or maybe a website you just came upon where you liked what is being sold, just scroll down to the bottom of the website page and see if they have an affiliate program. If you have any comments or questions about affiliate programs, please leave them below.

If the website doesn't mention an affiliate programme just send a message and ask if they do or if they might be interested Rob. I did this in the window cleaning niche and got an affiliate link for a company that supplies high end water fed poles to the industery.
Rick
Yes. This would be my next step if they do not list an affiliate program link at the bottom of their website page. I also have Googled the query if the retailer has an affiliate program, many times it will say either yes, no or they used to.
I’m thinking the Affiliate Model is going to become a mainstream occupation for many people.
I agree. The 9-5 can be crazy sometimes. Time and location freedom is a dream-work in progress for me, and I believe many here too. Imagining what mine will look like in this affiliate model.
You are correct! In many cases it already is, for people who know about it and have a desire to earn either extra income or income full time.
According to Statista, The global Affiliate Marketing Industry in 2025 is worth $18.5 billion and projected to be $31.7 billion by 2031.
The best time to start building an affiliate marketing business is while you still have a 9-5 job. Why? Because it can take a few years before you earn enough to replace your 9-5 job.

Hey Rob,
That is proactive thinking, thank you for the motivation. Many websites don't have their affiliate program link on the pages, but if you ask them they often have affiliate programs. This is what we do, and have found a surprising number of existing affiliate programs by just contacting them about it.
Yes. As I said to Rick below, that would be my next step to finding out if they had an affiliate program after asking Google if they have one. Many times Google will say yes, no or they had one but they shut it down.
