Blog Writing Tips For Beginners - SEO Best Practices

Here is just another quick post to inform the newbies and remind everyone else, about using your keywords properly. In this Blog Writing Tips For Beginners, I'm going to show you one of the SEO Best Practices I use.

Though there are many tips and strategies you should use for higher Google rankings with your blog content, I am focusing on one simple practice that I do. In fact, I'm doing it right now as I create this WA Blog Post.

Do you know what I am doing? First consider, what is a keyword? A keyword is any word or group of words, like a question, that people type into a search engine looking for answers. That being said, can you see what I'm doing?

BLOG WRITING TIPS FOR BEGINNERS

Take a look at the image above and those below. What do you see that looks common with these WA Blog Posts? All of these images are screenshots of some of my recent WA blogs. I am using one of the SEO Best Practices.

You should be able to see it by just these two images I have posted so far, especially you veterans of Wealthy Affiliate. Even though many people are using AI to craft their content, you should be doing this SEO strategy.

Are you still wondering what I am trying to get you to see? In the third paragraph of this post, I told you the answer to what is a keyword and mentioned I was doing it right now. I am still doing it up to this point and to the finish.

SEO BEST PRACTICES

I'm not going to keep you guessing much longer, because this is supposed to be a short visual post. Everything I am doing is both keyword and SEO strategy related. In a normal blog these best practices would be more spread out.

I am condensing these blog writing keyword tips and best practices for SEO, to quickly show you what to do to increase your Google rankings. There are many ranking factors, which you learn here at WA, these you can do now.

So, what am I doing? First I am going into Jaaxy and doing some quick research on keywords that I want to rank for. Then I am using those keywords as my blog post title. Many keywords tend to be question oriented in nature.

• How to generate AI images for free
• High ticket affiliate marketing products
• What is AI affiliate marketing in 2026
• Google Page 1 (See Below Image)
• Wealthy Affiliate success stories 2025 (See Below Image)

Words like "How" "What" "Where" "When" are some of the common first words used in a query on a search engine. All of my blog post titles use these words, with the exception of three of them which are keywords not questions.

Also notice where the keyword is placed in the title of the post. It is right at the beginning of the blog post title. The sooner the keyword you want to rank for appears in the title, the better your chances for ranking with that keyword.

Here is another SEO strategy to consider. With the exception of the last two blogs shown above, I will always try to include the keyword I want to rank for in the first paragraph of text, so it will show up in the initial snippet of text.

Google is smart enough to find it again in your content if you should write it further down like the two blogs pictured above. Sometimes I cannot word the content to always have the target keyword in the first paragraph.

My Blog Writing Tips For Beginners and the SEO Best Practices for you to consider when writing your content, even here at WA, is to use the Keywords you want to rank for early in the post title and in the first paragraph of text.

You also should repeat your target keywords at the end of your post content, just like I did here in this WA Blog Post. One final question for you all...What is unique with the keywords in THIS BLOG TITLE that's different?

I used TWO keywords in my title. "Blog Writing Tips For Beginners" which is my target keyword and "SEO Best Practices" an additional keyword I found in my Jaaxy search. Please leave any comments or questions below.
