You Need To Have One Or Two In Every Post

According to Medium.com, these are some of the calls to action:

  • sign-up in email list
  • buy a product
  • book a consultation
  • invite you to talk
  • help in your new project
  • share it on social media
  • comment below

You should have a call to action with every post. (That's something I learned recently.)

Also, it pays to have a call to action in mind before you write the post because every post should have a "bottom line" purpose. (After all, what's desired is BUSINESS RESULTS and not just for people to read content, and then go away.)

With the exception of the call to action of leaving a "comment below" (which should probably always be at end of post), any one of the other calls to action can be EITHER situated in the MIDDLE of the post or at the very END of the post or even both. You can also have 2 different calls to action in 1 post.

Just make sure to have some kind of call to action to every post.

Thanks, Jean for reminding us to never forget the primary need for a call-to-action for all of our blogs.

Yes, I always ask for comments at the very end of every post. I offer links throughout my post to click to buy products and I am working on actually asking people to click those links or try the product as well.

Very good.

I've noticed that affiliate BANNERS tend to blend in nicely in middle of posts too without looking too salesy.

Yes, that is true. I have just started using banners with a few reviews where I have a different affiliate (other than Amazon). For the pet health insurance review I did recently I have banners.
