Ball Rolling Again

So after not having published a single page or post in about one month, I finally got the ball rolling again with a new published page. Fantastic!

The page is simply called "How To Pay Attention." You can read it on my website. Just put the mouse on "During" on the menu and then you'll see the title "How To Pay Attention." And I do welcome comments on the page.

Starting now, I want to complete two posts a week by working about 20 hours a week consistently on website plus WA training. Then I'll be on a roll!

Sometimes one paragraph then one page at a time does it Jean!

Yes, Mike, and writing without pausing helps. The easier the writing is, the better. If it's not flowing, then there's something wrong. One needs to be uncritical when writing first draft and only be critical during revision.

The important thing is you are in action again. Good for you. Debbie

Thanks.
I think I can keep up two posts a week now. I think previously I felt overwhelmed, feeling I didn't have adequate knowledge to write truly helpful content and that it would take more time, but now I think I know how to research more efficiently.

i had a hard time keeping my websites active, especially during the winter, that's my inactive season. now activity has started back up.

Well, I think it's normal to slack off a little at the beginning, if blogging is a novel endeavor. (It seems gone are the days when it was considered normal to submit just one article a month to a publication.) It can seem overwhelming at first to publish at least one article a week--that is, until one is used to it and see how it's done.

As long as one perseveres and starts back up and learns to be consistent, there is no loss from the previous slack.

Thanks for comment.

Yes it was hard at first to keep my websites active. Then when winter came and horseback riding season was done, I didn't have much to write. Now the outdoors season has started back up and I am publishing once a week ( unless I get rained out)

Oh, I see. Your lifestyle makes the seasons different in what's available to write.

For me, it's just totally about general self-discipline and how to be efficient that makes me productive or not regardless of what season.

make your goal a habit

Yes, I have a schedule to work on this from 12noon to 3pm daily with 10-minute break, also to make money on EBay and/or get a "real job" from 3:30pm to 6:30pm daily with goal of $1,000 a month. This schedule is to be followed daily unless there's appointment or somewhere to go that interferes with those times and so then it would have to be modified on those days.

Thanks for encouragement.

I believe the website building is the hardest part because you definitely have to be creative. I have spent alot of time nonstop on it! I have never built one though! Good luck and Congrats on your progress!

Yes, the website building is the hardest part because of different things involved, I think. Some things require creativity whereas some things require technical knowledge. There's lots of things to learn. For example, I don't know how to move the "privacy policy" to the footer, which is something I want to do, so I'll have to learn that. But it's also interesting and fun.

Thank you.:-)
