Hi Bonnie
I am a great believer in the law of attraction and if you look in my training you will see it is the way I try to live my life on a daily basis. If you attack the problem from how you can help people rather than how you can make a profit I think that the end result will be the one you seek

In addition to trying to get you audience to become more self-sufficient through WA .. what about also focusing on those caregivers and things that would be of use to them as well? Disability affects those around you as well .... also your audience would probably expand to those 'just curious' ...sorry, not exactly organized thoughts, just jotting it down as it comes....

I see you have some excellent advice and suggestions. Perhaps consider extending your target audience to include the family and carers too. My mother had disabilities. She did not use a computer but I was always on the lookout for products and services that would make life a bit easier for her. ~Jude

Wow, both Dennis and Mark make some really good points. As I was reading your question about your niche, I was just as stumped as you, as to how to market.

This is the power of WA. I think you're going to do really great with this Bonnie. From the advice given, it looks like you can be extremely successful with this niche. Keep looking for other answers from other members. I'm sure there are several more folks here at WA who could add valuable advice.

I look forward to watching your progress! Best of luck to you Bonnie!

Regards,
Stephen

Thanks for the thumbs up Stephen!

Hiya Bonnie

You raise an excellent point here, not just for the disabled with financial issues, but for many other demographics with the same difficulties as well.

I'd say this to you, think of why you are here...you said in your bio that you want WA to be your financial vehicle to success so why not consider that others in a similar situation to you might think the same thing and then offer them that same opportunity that you have.

Anybody who is on a low fixed income has limited options to improve their financial situation but WA must surely fall into one of THE most affordable available to people...certainly the one with the most potential.

Free, $19 then $47 a month, with the ability to make some income before the larger payment kicks in, has to be the very best way to get yourself (I'm talking generally now, not necessarily you personally) out of the grip of poverty and towards self sufficiency and then financial comfort and independence.

If you're doing it Bonnie, so can many, many others in similar circumstances and the market for people in this niche has to be huge.

I'd make your first site as an affiliate one with WA and speak to your chosen audience with your own experience, straight from your heart.....your life experience and the affordable opportunity you offer your readers (WA) will go down well with them and I'm certain you will get affiliate sales from it. Three sales and your monthly subs are covered and, critically, it would be exactly the same for the people you speak to......three of their own sales and their's is paid for too and we'll all help them to succeed! See what I'm getting at Bonnie.

There's no reason why you couldn't dedicate a portion of your site to the disabled and maybe have a dedicated site for that demographic as well a little later on when your first is established.

If you make your first site dedicated to the disabled market, I'm guessing you would monetize it with affiliate products and if your audience doesn't have much disposable income you may not get many sales.......upshot, a feeling of failure and thinking that you can't keep it going and that would be terrible for you and those people you could've helped out of their situation.

That's my two cents worth Bonnie...up to you now!
Mark

I agree with this advise. It's really just that simple to find your niche. What can I do or offer to help others.

Your niche could be huge Bonnie!

There are some sectors of adult disability that have large budgets. Do you have any idea how much money is spent by insurance companies and hospitals for rehab equipment, facilities, and staff?

In some sectors (sports medicine) the sky seems to be the limit, while in others (geriatrics) the practitioners live within the financial guidelines laid out by the insurance companies. The same holds true for those recovering from accidents (whether automotive or work related), those recovering from surgery (joint replacement), etc.

Then there's the whole physical / occupational / speech rehab area to play in.

You need to pick a focused niche in which there is some money being spent, and build a 'silo' on your site related to that niche. Once you've begun getting some traffic (and some income), you can begin another silo - on another focused niche which is closely related.

It may sound selfish, but you can only help others in need once you've taken care of your base requirements - so you can stay online.

Best of luck with it!

Dennis

Wow you really can't get any better advice than these first two. Now make your mark on this niche

Wow Duane, you've put me and Dennis on the same page...I feel I must be getting somewhere...LOLss

Hi Bonnie! I was thinking that if you follow the Affiliate Bootcamp tutorial and blend it with your niche, you will provide a lot of vital information to help others in your situation. After reading your blog and bio, it seems you will be a natural in speaking from the heart to help others learn how to help themselves. There are many knowledgeable people here who will give you a ton of support getting your website up and running and on track. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I'm still learning, but I'm sure we can find a way to make you a success and earn the extra income you need.

Kim

that is an awesome idea!

Hmmm, had not thought about this dynamic on your previous question about your niche. That is a good point. You have a heart and a passion for helping people in this situation, but you have a need for income. What to do........
A couple of thoughts.
1. D you have a domain name yet? If not, you could do an overall domain on health and wellness, develop that first, and later start a subdomain dedicated to adult disability. Basically putting the dream on hold while doing something fairly related ( I assume health and wellness are even more important for folks suffering from a disability)that you can monetize.
2. Slightly modify your niche so that you can add in things that relate to non-disabled population as welll? Not sure how you would do that though.
3. Start a WA affiliate track also for monetization. However, I am stating to hear some things about saturation in that area, so you would want to research that a little before making the plunge.

Hope that helps.

Jerry

Hi Bonnie,

I see what you have in mind and this is a difficult one. However, I think you could create an educational, informational and product site similar to mine. I will send you a private message shortly explaining how this could work for you.

Thank you so much Lis, I would greatly appreciated the PM and the advice. I kinda need it.

Does the number in the blue box at the top right corner of page to the right of the airplane box (300) mean the number of people you are following or the number of people who ar

Hi. It is the number of followers you have. That is why your number in the blue box does not increase when you follow someone. :)

Thank you so much for your response. I thought that might be the case. So I have to depend on others to follow me, not quite sure how to do that, being a newbie and not ready to answer questions yet.

I wouldn't worry about it Bonnie. The longer you are here, the more followers you will have. Also, a lot of times, when you follow someone, they will usually return the favor and follow you back.

As far as not feeling ready to answer questions, I wouldn't let that bother me either. For most, this is all new training and you need to work through it and understand it to feel comfortable enough to help others. It will come to you in time. :)

Thank you Michelle for your kind advice.
