Hi everyone. Its been a while I haven't written here, totally slammed by many different projects, but I do always love to come back to WA and share the thoughts as well as get your guidance, and therefore this post.

One of my websites is ranked on page 1 in Google, precisely 3 rd is a row under certain search term and I would like to repeat this with a new mini niche website that I found some hellishly good low competition keyword and large interest for on G trends.

I would like to share my top most important things when setting up a new website for SEO optimisation with Google and Bing. I would love to hear your thoughts and perhaps the order in which some of you do it in the comments below.

1) Download the All in one SEO/ or Yoast

2) Fill in the titles and meta descriptions by some great low competition titles, keywords , as thought here in the first courses

3) Don't forget about keyword stuffing and focus on quality content

4) Verify your site with Google and Bing ( can be done by ALLI1 SEO or through Webmaster Tools ) Se

5) Make sure that you submit your Sitemap to Google and Bing so that they can find your pages

6) Add Google Analytics to see the performance by region, and other details about traffic and usage

I would love to hear your comments about what you find the most useful in optimising and ranking your new website. Thanks Community and speak soon!

Thanks Bojana, I just have one question related to the meta descriptions. Should we just insert keywords into it, or should we write it like a regular description with a few keywords thrown in?

Hi Gicko,

You would want your description to be longer than just a keyword or two and something that catches attention. Ideally you would include your keywords in that description as well, for example if you are selling used auto parts you want to make sure that's in the description as soon as your website comes up, used auto parts being the keyword here. You can always elaborate on it in Jaaxy or the keyword tool. Hope this helps)
