Back To the Drawing Board
I am having so much trouble with deciding on and committing to a niche! I am not an expert on anything and I am not passionate about anything. But I am trying. I have thought of and started to develop two niches. In the midst of working with the first niche, I started having doubts about the subject. Then I had a brainstorm and changed my niche. I knew there was a lot of information out there and when I checked out a website (as recommended in the training module I completed this morning), I discovered that it covered everything I thought I was going to cover, but it was done SO WELL that I decided I did not want to "reinvent the wheel". So now I need to come up with something else or perhaps go back to my first choice. Quite frustrating.

FYI--switched to Affiliate Bootcamp. I still have a lot to learn and a long way to go, but I think it will be a good fit.

darlene - don't overthink it at this stage use the initial web site as a learning experience.
You can always put the website to one side and come back to it at a later stage - if you find that there is a lot of content on you niche try limiting your niche down to a smaller part - don't give up on it - brainstorm to get 30 to 50 ideas for posts -if this doesn't happen them maybe it will not last - doesn't matter at the moment
The main point is to get the site up and running don't limit yourself - i was hard on myself at the start. i was striving for >1k words, but it is better to learn to use keywords and write some content than not to write at all.
Learn the ideas and use them in future. You may not make money on the first site but don't let that put you off.
use the free websites as practice - they can always be deleted or transferred to a domain later.
Have fun learning the lessons on here you wil be using them in your business well into the future.

I understand everything you are saying. I will try to remember it as I continue to work on my initial site. Thank you for your comment.
