What Is This?

OK, can somebody tell me why the 8211 things appear in my headline?

I'm using Thrive Architect to do my posts and that thing appear in my title every time I switch between the WordPress Editor (which I hate!) and Thrive.

The title and permalink are just fine when I publish, but still...

Is that a problem? Does it happen with you as well?

Thanks a lot in adavance!

That's a character code. Symbols like % & and so on are actually just a bunch of codes to define them. Do you have a symbol in your headline?

Just "-" and 2 spaces, one before and one after "-".
But I keep wondering, is that a problem since it's not visible?

– is an HTML code for two hyphens -- so use just one hyphen and it should go away.

Thank you so much!
Since it's not visible in the published articles, is it going to affect my rankings?
That's probably a stupid question, but I would like to know!

Sorry, me again.
I always use just one hyphen, never two.

Thanks for the quick replies?
I was just wondering - is that a problem? Do I have to fix something?
It doesn't appear in my published articles, so it's not visible.

It could be that the browser doesn't support the character set. If you are looking for a hyphen, try "-". If that doesn't work let me know and I might have some other ideas.

Looks like WA converted the ascii code.... I typed in & # 4 5 ; (with no spaces)

That's the symbol I'm using and it does look as it's shown in the photo.
