It isn't just about Me!
ME! ME! ME!
So, I'm sitting here thinking about my site and the content for it that I am currently writing...it hits me...
It isn't just about ME and MY bills, and time with MY family. It isn't about MY lack of income, MY struggles, MY things that I want to do...
THEY are my focus!!
It's about THEM...my readers, anyone who visits my site!!
Why did I not get this when I first started out here?
I was just reading my own profile page...what I wrote the first night that I signed up for WA.
I was so focused on my interests and why I wanted a passive income through affiliate marketing. To make MY life easier and better! So much was ME ME ME ME!!
Well, my profile still is for now...I plan to change it, or update it so that it isn't so much about what I want...but what I want to do to help others achieve success...to make their lives better, for their families.
Think about it
If we are thinking more about ourselves when we are writing our blogs on our websites, then we are missing the whole point. We all are here to help others. Other WA members build their websites. And other people in general to make a better life for themselves and their families.
So, when you write your blogs. Think about how are we helping someone else. Think about what is it that you can help them with, that makes things easier for them...to bring in more income, or whatever it is that makes things better.
Don't let the focus be on ourselves so much, but think about our readers, and/or other members...just not so much on ourselves.
I welcome any thoughts any of you may have on this also...

Great insight! Your absolutely right! It’s incredibly easy to lose our way in all the excitement that comes along with building your online business and the vast visions of impending success.
Ultimately there is no success without readers and there are no readers without content that is greared towards helping others.

It just sort of hit me that much of my website posts are about me. So now I must go back and revamp them... so my readers can trust that I care more about them than I do about being successful or making money. Thanks for your comment.

You are absolutely right it isn't about us it is about our readers and clients because that is how they will buy from us. As long as they are interested in what we had written.

Thanks for your reply. I see this written, but for some reason it didn’t sink in until I was actually reading my own blogs on my site...so I started my rewrite last night.
