Thank you

Hi Bob

Your site is missing the required piece of text to identify yourself as an Amazon associate and your currently breaking their terms and conditions, a surefire way to lose your account.

Please take a look at item number 10 in this operating agreement
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/help/operating

Overall, it's a good site, but I find those colored words really hard on my eyes. Your "Vieo,s" page should have an apostrophe, not comma

Those are good points below... I read your review on Samsung and honestly it is very in depth and I learnt something new about the Galaxy S3 Tablet and this is indeed, your niche. The harsh reality of the business world and internet in particular seems always to work against the way we think it should, it is a tricky skill to acquire, trials and errors are just the call of the day. Keep it up, make some adjustments and soon the whole world will come to you:)

Hi Bob. I found the font a little difficult to read on the page. I think you want to make it easy for folks to read which is why I think Kyle recommends black on white. It's clear and easy to read, especially for our older eyes :) It's working for Apple's website, will work for ours as well.

Also, you may want to look at breaking your paragraphs into smaller chunks. I found some of it hard to read.

Great start on your site though, congrats. I do agree with Jim's comments below about the domain name.

Good points below!

Keep on writing content. You only have 8 pages up. The more pages you have for targeted keywords the more traffic you will get.

On a different note, I think you need to change a setting in your blog. When i did this search in google:

site:samsunggalaxy3tablet.com

I found that most of your page titles showed up in Google like this:

%post-title% - %blog-title% - Samsung Galaxy 3 Tablet

I'm not sure why it's doing that, but I suspect it has something to do with the SEO plugin you are using or how you configured it.

Thanks Thomas I am not sure why it is doing that it must be some setting I have wrong I will check it out.

Hey Bob,

Unfortunately, there are some red flags here. It has nothing to do with your efforts but with the name of your website. You have not only Samsung in your domain name but their product name in your domain as well. You could be looking at some legal issues here. I've had this happen to me.

You also have to consider the fact that if this product does not work out as you had hoped, you can't reuse the site for something else.

Remember that content is the most important aspect of your business and not a product name or company, or even domain name.

We often tell people here on WA to get more focused but I am going to suggest you get a bit less. Let me know if you want help in doing that.

Best Regards,
Jim

Hi Thanks for your candid thoughts do you think that I could change the domain name to something else like Tablet review and keep the content?

Hey Bob,

You'll need to transfer the content over to the new domain but there's not much content as it is so it shouldn't be a problem.

But I think even with a name like table review, you'll need to answer the question, what can you provide that a site like CNET.com doesn't with respect to reviewing technology? That's not to say you can't come up with a different angle but it's got to be really good to go up against a giant like CNET and others that may not be as big as CNET but are already more established.

With niches like this, you may want to look at supporting niches such as insurance to protect those devices or accessories that are related to it. Electronics are one of the toughest niches to penetrate. So people often tackle ancillary products.

Best Regards,
Jim

Hi guys. Wanted to jump in with my own thoughts as well. I looked at doing tablet reviews last fall and what I was focusing on was how to use the darn things. For instance, how do I download an app and how do I get rid of it? What are good apps, which ones would I recommend.

For many of us tablets are still a little scary so help us become comfortable using it and learning about the gizmos and gadgets on it. "How long does the battery last and what can I do to make it last longer" seemed to be popular topics. Anyways, hope this helps.

Hey Rick (@Rick Jantz)
Having a niche on training about certain aspects of technology I think is great. How to use apps, or how to use features of particular technologies is always a big seller. That is often a missing piece on many technologies that we use. And going in with that angle, we can easily include affiliate offers for the product itself.

Best Regards,
Jim

I agree Jim. People want to learn how to use their new toy. Show them and they will come back to learn more.

Good advice Jim

I see a lot of sites with multiple pages, my question is if you are promoting a specific product should you keep it to maybe 2 or 3 pages as there is only so much you can write

Hey Bob,

You kind of answered your own question. You should never write for the sake of filling a page or to have multiple pages just because others are doing it. They may not be even be doing it correctly. Always think of your reader and whether the page is coherent, offers value, and hopefully makes them want to return to read other things that you write.

Best Regards,
Jim
