How to Begin Writing Articles And Making It Fun!

In my opinion,"Article Writing" is a lot of fun. I believe anyone can write a simple, informative article on any subject, and have a lot of fun doing it.

Folks, this is definitely not "rocket science." It's a matter of doing a little research and putting what you've learned into a small article for others to read and enjoy.

Have you ever sent an email to one of your friends? If you have, "YOU CAN WRITE!!"

I know that many people that hear the words "Write an Article," just curl up and start mumbling out loud. They totally and involuntarily "freeze up" at these words. They've been told that writing takes a very special "talent." Well, it don't... it just takes the ability to start.

Whenever you hear the word "Article," what comes to mind? Do you think of those articles you've been reading in your favorite magazines? Or, maybe certain articles you've read in your newspaper.

First, let's define article:

ARTICLE: a written composition in prose, usually nonfiction, on a specific topic, forming an independent part of a book or other publication, as a newspaper or magazine.

Or, put more simply, an article is a brief, informative block of writing that delivers an idea or consideration in a convenient, interesting or entertaining manner.

People that read an article want to either be enlightened, entertained or learn something new... or maybe all three!

If you're trying to drive targeted traffic to your website, you'd better start writing. Article writing is one of the very best traffic generating strategies. If you can send highly informative content to the search engines, they're going to reward you by sending potential buyers to your site.

In other words, an informative article with a lot of keywords, underneath a great title, can almost guarantee you'll be getting not only visitors to your site, but buyers too!

The information business is huge, and the internet is all about delivering information. Most of the people searching the internet are looking for information, either free or paid.

If you're unable to deliver informative content on your website, then chances are... you're not going to make it! If you have thousands of visitors to your site each day, and they can't find anything useful there, guess what... they're not going to hang around, and will just click away and never return. If you believe that writing an article requires a degree in the rules of proper English grammar or be born with a special talent for writing, I say... nay, nay!

There are many, many internet marketers that have made fortunes using the power of article writing, and have never even finished high school.

So, don't handicap yourself by thinking everything has to have "perfect sentence structure" and "perfect grammar."

When you begin an article, forget about all that stuff and just have fun talking to your customer. Just imagine your writing to your best friend and enjoy talking and informing them about what you have for them.

Some marketers consider writing too hard for them, so they outsource it to elance.com, vworker.com, fivver.com or other sites like this.
NOT A GOOD IDEA!

Most of these writers bidding on your articles are from foreign countries, and just don't speak the English language very well or translate it very good. The copy they send is often poorly written and full of errors and bad grammar.

This could cause you many hours trying to decipher and rewrite it into an acceptable article. Therefore, just do your own writing and have fun with it. The more experience you have writing your own articles, the better the chance of receiving traffic to your site, and more traffic means... you guessed it... MORE SALES!!

I know it can be very intimidating the first time you plop down in front of your computer and try to write something informative that others will want to read. The key to solving this dilemma comes down to feeling secure in what you're going to write about. This is why you should begin by writing about a subject you're familiar with.

If you love baking cakes, write about that. If you love working on vehicles, write about that. Golf, lots of stuff to write about there. Maybe you passion for growing roses.

Whatever you decide on, if you have a passion for that niche, there's a excellent chance you're going to succeed in this business. So, get rid of all those negative thoughts and just let your mind flow as you type. You'll soon find yourself having fun and wanting to write more and more.

When you start to write about subjects you know nothing about, you'll enjoy doing the research and rewriting what you've learned, then... tell it in your own words.

Once again... "WRITING IS FUN!" Approach it with this mindset and you will enjoy it
