"What If It Doesn't Matter?"

I love this quote, basically inviting us not to be afraid of being ourselves. When I was young I was painfully shy. I wouldn't say boo to the proverbial goose.

One of the great joys for me of growing older has been being liberated from what other people think. I've always admired great eccentrics and those who seem to do their own thing, or act or dress differently & seem impervious to what others think.

I had an "aha" moment after reading Susan Jeffers book "Feel The Fear, And Do It Anyway." The one phrase that hit me was "What if it doesn't matter?"

Wow, I thought, yes, "What if it doesn't matter?"

What if it doesn't matter what others think of me? That's their problem!
