Yay!! My first referral! WA works!!!
So almost exactly seven months into WA, I joined on 5 Oct 2013, I have had my very first referral!
I haven't been spending much time on building my site lately, as so many orders have been rolling in for homemade meat pies, pickles, jams and biscuits, that I have been totally whacked by 11 at night.
I am not sure where this referral came from, I must really add tracking to my links, but I have been sharing WA posts on Twitter an FB between rolling out pastry and stirring jam. Oh, and raising Tweetles, our six week old chicken that keeps getting under my feet, she really thinks she's human and that I'm her mother!
But back to business! Thank you to everyone for the support and encouragment, read my post, 'Not such a Good Day', and you'll know what I'm talking about! To Kyle and Carson for this fantastic program that you guys have designed, a big thank you that we can earn money within the WA platform!
I know it's not a lot, just $1, that is just over R10 in South Africa, but to me it's the promise of better things to come! So take heart all you WAuers out there that are ready to throw in the towel, hang on, bite down, look up and keep smiling!
We are all going to make it!

Seven month into WA and you already got your first referral. And like you said, you weren't even working at your website.
Imagine how many you can get if you really put the time and effort to building up your website to obtain more and more referrals.

It's usually that first sale that reinforces why we are doing this and gives us the motivation to keep going. Consider that dollar similar to what brick-and-mortar businesses enclose in a glass casing and hang up on the wall.
Besides, you say that you haven't really put that much into your website lately. Imagine what will happen when you're able to get back to it!
