Renovations Complete!!! Please Visit.
After a lot of thought and even more advice and suggestions from WA friends, thanks Beverley, I finally took the plunge and changed the old for a new one!
I went from Liqorice to Twenty Thirteen, thanks Carson! So the changes took some time to complete and update and are now ready for inspection.
Will anyone that has some time please, please have a look around and tell me what you think. And you really don't have to use the sandwich method, I can take the punch!LOL!

Lydia, I love your new look! You've inspired me to try to make some pickles this year! I haven't done that in a very long time. My only suggestion on your theme design is that the color of your title makes it hard to see against the very colorful background in the header. You might want to try bright yellow or lime green lettering to see it if will show up better.

Nice, your site is really looking great! Only thing I have a problem with is reading the title Kitchen Blessings you might want to try a little darker color or maybe not lol. WAY TO GO! keep up the good work:)
Thanks David. It's hassling me too. I might have to go with a different header, because if I use a darker color, it blends into the background in places too. Will have to mull it over a bit!

Lovely site, Lydia. But I agree with the others that the title 'Kitchen Blessings' doesn't show up among the jars and the next line 'In a Pickle? Make Your Own Preserves!' disappears almost completely.
Thanks a lot! I have now changed the color to white, it looks better but still not perfect. I'll probably have to change the header to a new one.
The white looks a lot better! It may not be perfect, but I wouldn't worry about it any more.
