Comment On My Site - Spam or Real?
I have just received a comment on my site regarding Firefox. I don't have Firefox and was wondering if any of you that does use it, would be so kind to check out my latest post and see how it displays.

looks Fine to Me I use Firefox. It will be either spam or the viewers screen settings. IE They have the page zoomed in.

Love your site and will be attempting to follow your advice this year. I have FireFox and the site is splendid ... nothing is running off the screen. Perhaps it is spam or perhaps something is up with that particular reader's system. But I certainly wouldn't approve the remark (or reply to it) just in case... God Bless! ~Cathy

The person mentions nothing about your content, and it is a comment that could be sent to anyone. What is the name and the email of the sender? What is their IP address. Are they at least from the US.
Chances are great that it is SPAM. There is nothing to really help you in what they are saying. Definitely do not approve it to show in your comments.
Hi Lydia - I agree with Terea - adds nothing to your post, therefore it should be trashed. I bet it would have a signature with a link to a dodgy website!!

Hi Terea, I tried to install Akismet, but for some reason it refuses to accept my wordpress login details, so I never completed the installation.
I'm not sure, it's quite some time ago but I don't think so. I didn't want to change my password, as someone else had blogged about the same problem and couldn't access WP at all.
You should not have to change your password to install akismet, but the next one that is used a lot is called GASP. I will look it up for you, as I do not remember what the silly letters stand for, oh Growmap Anti Spambot, Go to admin panel plugins add new and search for it. Then install. If you have any trouble feel free to contact me by whatever means.
I've forgotten how good your site is! I'm using firefox and it looks great. the comment may be spam, does it have a url link in the comment that looks suspect?
