Update on my progress at wealthy affiliate - 8 months and counting!
Hi Guys,
I thought I'd update you all about my progress at wealthy affiliate since deciding to rejoin again last October 2017.
So far it's been a very exiting experience and I must admit that I have learned so much from the training here. I enjoy what I do so I have decided not to rush into things and take my time to learn the process better.
The reason why I have chosen to do things gradually this way is because by being over zealous we tend to make mistakes.
If you have been reading my previous blog posts, you will find that I am brutally honest about my past mistakes, failures and I would describe my present moment as a very big learning curve and time of reflection!
You can probably tell by reading my profile that I am fairly new to affiliate marketing so I am taking baby steps and bite size mouth fulls in heading towards gaining all the practical knowledge and skills which will help when fulfilling my goals.
My progress so far:
- Three websites which are currently a work in progress
- On level 2 Wealthy Affiliate Boot Camp modules
- Now coming to the end of the level 2 Wealthy Affiliate Onlne Entrepreneur Certication
A little amount of progress right? but In all, I am truly greatful for all that I have been able to learn so far.
Right at the beginning of my rejoining wealthy affiliate, I knew that my focus was not going to be about making money but about getting an expert take on a business which I love so much.
I am currently employed full time which is part of the reason why it has taken this long to complete the training but my hearts desire is to go into business full time.
I must be truthfully honest with you all that my work schedule being very demanding almost caused me to get discouraged and quit wealthy affiliate...AGAIN!
After contemplating it I changed my mind and then decided that the wealthy affiliate online business community was a personal choice which I had made for myself and was what I really loved and was passionate about, who was anyone to get in the way of that?
A final word to leave you with today is, as I mentioned in my last blog post about 5 mistakes I made along the way you and should not repeat is that I am at that place in my life where if I mention something that I am truly passionate about to other people, regardless of who they are and they really seem opposed to what I stand on and believe in, they DO NOT DESERVE to stay in my life PERIOD!!.
It's time to start standing up for what we believe and stop letting people who don't care about us dictate the course of our life.
