Just read a article from another WA member, Tom, who wrote:
” those who fail to plan plan to fail”
I will change fail with win and use this:
"Those who win to plan, plan to win".
I know it doesn't really look right but then it does make you look at it again.
I hate talking about my self, maybe it's a British thing and I think this profile thing is very American, but, then maybe not. (Views please)
I live in the UK in a place called Quakers Yard in South Wales about 15 miles north of Cardiff. A place that indirectly bought about the birth of Pennsylvania I believe. William Penn is strongly associated with Quakers Yard and it also has the smallest Quakers grave yard in the world. Right, enough about History.
I like to be known as Ted and use Bleakbasher as my internet name. Both these are nick names and my real name is Graham, but only my mum and officialdom uses this.
I am, what's known as, a "Silver Surfer" (age with-held for vanity reasons) so have been around the "block" a few times. Tried many things though out my life, done a lot of jobs, been in and out of self employment, ran a pub, hacked a taxi, customer service, security guard with a very fierce dog,(used to frighten the life out of me) customer advisor for a mobile phone company. My advice on this; always go payg instead of contract; you are in control
Having spent more time being my own boss than actually working for someone. I have found, in my opinion, that it's the best way to go and wouldn't want it any other way. This is why I decided to continued with Wealthy Affiliate. It has allowed me to stay in control without the need for any commitment or enforced contract. Once I manage to understand the principles of WA, I am happy to build my own little empire up which will help me pay for more "silver surf boards"
I stumbled on WA when I was looking for another business idea and while I have dabbled with internet marketing before and have had my fingers burnt with scammer's. So I nearly bypassed Wealthy Affiliate thinking they where tarred with the same brush. But, no, at last I found a site that I believe is not a scam, they didn't want any contract and best of all no money. So I signed up as a free starter, read and took part in the community, tested the water, set up my first free web site. I took them up on their premium offer and haven't look back since.
I enjoy painting, watercolours mostly, fishing and golf. Reading a good book and playing with the grand kids.
******Update: I have now started my 2nd web site for my daughter.*********
Bleakbasher's Goals 3
There is only one goal and that is financial freedom, Not to have to ask how much something cost anymore...greedy you may say, but my goals aren't that high. as long as all bills are paid on time every month would be a bonus.
