Embedding YouTube clips into Wordpress

Was struggling with embedding a youtube video into my wordpress blog, especially as I remember doing it another way several months ago, but of course time passes and if you don't do something, you tend to forget.

 Well I do anyway.

Ok, after consulting the Wordpress destructions page, I didn't really find a satisfactory solution.

So, after consulting the one and true god of the universe, Google, I discovered a little plugin that solved everything (well for me anyway). And Imean everything as it just this particular problem, not everything else. Although it would be nice if it could solve everything else too. Can't have everything I guess.

Anyway, just thought I'd share it with everyone. Guess most of you do know it, but what the heck.

Ok, firstly, install this plugin Youtube brackets

Secondly, use the bracket notation for embedding a youtube video and post in the desired spot on your post.

ie [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrYVi54d0lk]

Finally publish your post.

It's that easy!
