My Progress Brief - May 2017
I joined WA on the first of May 2017 and the progress is zero. The only thing that I did in the last two months is that I spent inordinate amount of time in setting up my website. I want it to be the way that I like but I am still not getting there. I have published only two blog posts till date, and the traffic is zero.
Sometimes its disheartening to read stories that even after sticking for 6-7 months someone made nothing, someone made only $2. Sometimes its encouraging to read success stories too. What I concluded is that, in the best case scenario, it takes minimum of 8 to 12 months times to get your website gain respectable traction before the dough starts to roll in. But the thing is that when you start out you really don't have any idea whether the niche you are into and the content you are creating will help you to attain your financial goals.
I am forging ahead into some other niches too, so as to not to put my eggs into one single basket. I have always been a health and fitness guy and thought it will be nice to be into this niche, but I think its too much crowded. I have narrowed it down to home workouts and minimum equipment workouts for women and still think it is an uphill task to be on the first page of search results. The main concern that I have is when I should throw away the towel and what are the failure indicators. There's no point in continuing to fight the battle that you can never win.
I would put up my progress or regress report every month.

I'm quite new here on WA, and you're right it can difficult sometimes.
