Can you run a WA business using free wi-fi?????
I have to admit that this has been a real challenge to run a online business going from place to place and using their free wi-fi connection.
In the very beginning I was told by a couple of top producers here a WA, that they did not think that it could be done.
Well going into my fourth month at WA I am still on the computer 8-10-15hrs per day, when I don't have computer problems or network connection problems. After all I'm saving $60 a month.
So the answer is yes, but not something I would recommend. The hassle of depending on others is so humbling, you would not want to experience it.
The public library has been the best place to hook-up, but can be slow if 30 or more hook up at same time. And of course, they close way too early .And closed on sunday. Here in our little town it's free, but I here some library's charge.
Burger King has been great at 5am till the lobby closes at 10pm. Our Mcdonalds will not let you plug in, and my battery only last 1 hour now.
I had hoped I would have an income by this time to cover the cost of a connection, but that has not happened yet.
So if you are considering giving up, because of the cost of internet service, there is a way through it and around the problem.

I think using free internet sources will affect your Google Analytics data, if you visit your website frequently. Each source has its own IP address and therefore unless you set a filter for each one, Your visits to preview your website count.
I use a Verizon jetpack and I have to change my IP address each day, in my established filter, so that my visits do not skew the data. There are ways to deal with it, its just a little bit of a hassle to remember to do that!
Just thought I would pass that along. When starting out it is easy to visit your own site many times a day to see how pretty it is, and before you know it, you go to Google Analytics and discover that your site has blossomed overnight. Ah ha, guess who did that. It's like the line in the movie, Liar Liar: "it was me!"
If I am wrong on this, someone else please share as I am still trying to resolve my dynamic IP address issue. But from experience so far, this is what I have noticed about free wifi and Verizon type devices.
Mr. Jaros, I think you are right, I just never thought of it. Except I did notice analytics saying the majority of the hits were coming from my small town, so that has to be me.

You don't have an affiliate program except for WA? Have you tried to sell anything like from Amazon?
For me Carla amazon was a disaster. I could never get anything to work right. And Kyle told me not to do adsense yet

Dord Pete.I think I know why, and its from keywords selection. Plus I have nothing to sell except WA and that is very competitive on that google page.
But if there are members getting 50 referrals a day,like Kyle says, then I am doing something wrong and Im going to find out what they are doing and how they are doing it. Because I know I can do it.

A lot of us are in the same position Paul, promoting WA and not getting any referrals. But we're not giving up! I am sure you will make it in the end, you have the right attitude.
