Almost 4 months In
So it has been almost 4 months since I have joined the WA Premium and here are my thoughts so far.
I have been trying to put 2-3 posts a week and post them on Pinterest and Twitter. I am also looking into creating a Facebook page for my blog as I believe it will have most value in the long run. I have tred to create a separate profile on Facebook but it got banned for some reason. It was because up until two weeks ago my post had 5-6 links in them so Facebook probably thought that I was just "link spaming" or something :) Now I have two affiliate links for every post.
To be honest the progress is kind of slow. I don't see that many people visiting my website and I haven't made any comissions from my affiliate links yet. Of course, I haven't tried paid advertising and I also have another 90 days before Amazon Associates program kicks me out. We will see, maybe things will turn around in that period. My goal now is to increase the number of posts per week. Hopefully I can do 4-5 instead of 2-3.
Besides that the community has been super helpful. I got an answer for every single question that I have asked and some people are willing to do a little bit extra which is awesome. I also haven't finished training yet so I am also excited to see what lies ahead.
So that has been my experience so far. As always, I am open to any suggestions, criticism and help. Hello Karolis, thank you for your post. It is always great to read about your journey at WA. I started a year ago and applied everything I learned to help me design and run marketing campaigns at work. Now that I am through that phase I started working on my personal site and got carried away with site design so the site is still pre-launch :). You are right, the Community and WA services are responsive and helpful, and they really answer questions! I wish you success on your journey. I will look at your site. They also have SiteFeedback and SiteComments if that helps you. Sometimes I find private messaging people I have established relationships provide me reviews and feedback that I value. I looked at your site, so I will provide you feedback, and I will focus on improvement rather than praise. But let me get the praise out, because your site looks really simple, functional and easy to read. I can see you are putting effort into content development, and you put hours of work into getting it to this point. Okay, here are my improvement suggestions,
1.
Get more SiteComments, engagement, replies on each of your posts using the SiteComments under Websites on WA . Get more feedback through SiteFeedback. If you do not have enough points you can earn points by paying forward and doing it for others first.
2.
Setup your system to reply with your name rather than Admin. And remove your "about me" tag so that your About Me shows your whole page and not a snippet.
3.
Find more than Amazon as a place to send people. Just cover your bases, just incase they decide to drop you.
4.
Find other people in WA that actually make money as affiliate marketers in a niche space and ask advice. Personally I am going through the top 50 ambassadors and checking out everyone's sites looking for a potential list of success stories.
5.
Success is never a mistake and does not just happen. Learn from and implement the success cases in your site.
