I have been and am involved with several training programs and I have noticed they all have 1 thing in common... None of them seem to say much if anything about the legal aspect
The problem is that these rules will change often and they only affect US citizens right now. There are reciprocal laws in other countries, but they all vary. The best advice is for people to clear their activities with a lawyer in their own country.
There is also no allowance for ignorance of the law if an action is taken against you!
Thank you for posting this it is more onerous than I had believed before.
Very good article. I have searched many places and noticed that no one had anything about the legal aspect of the industry. You've listed some very good information here.
May I know the prescriptive period within which an aggrieve party can file a complaint against the other for violation of FTC Rules and Regulations? Thank you. Sam
I don't know of any broad time limit that covers all the rules and regulations. If you can be a little more specific about which rules you are talking about, spam complaint, bizop disclosure, etc. I will see if I can find out for you.
If it keeps just 1 person from getting in trouble then it was well worth the time it took to post it.
I appreciate this post a lot. I will definitely be analyzing my websites for this type of information. Thanks
