Smart discovery ( .com )
Have you discovered this! Or you are yet to get knowledge of it!
Always be mindful on the web page you click or get access to. Be careful on the website you submit your details to.
There are some truth that needs to be unfold. Always beware of ".com".
While checking the name of any website, first look for the domain extension ( .com or .org, .co.in, .net etc). The name just before this, is a domain name of the website.
E.g http://Amazon.diwali-festival.com... The word before '.com' is 'Diwali-festivals'(and NOT Amazon ).
This simply means that the webpage does not belong to Amazon.com but rather to 'Diwali-festivals.com, which sounds odd ,and haven't heard of before.

Some websites will also attach bank name to their website. You can similarly check for bank frauds.
Before your e-banking logins, make sure that the name just before '.com' is the name of your bank?
E.g something.Firstbank.com belongs to first bank but Firstbank.somethingelse.com belongs to Somethingelse'.

Absolutely it is!. Though it took me days to investigate, which I found necessary to share.
Thanks
Thanks
It's really an eye opener to many. One needs to be careful when dealing with 'blogs/website'.
It's really a reminder!
Thank you for posting this! It is so easy to get in a situation from not paying attention to the web addresses in emails and ads. I have been dupped several times because some of these emails look very convincing. Matter of fact I got an email (in my spam folder) just this morning warning me that my yahoo would be shut down if I didn't get reapproved by a certain date. if you look at the message carefully you will find that it actually comes from another website. Very shady people in this world...
It's really an ugly occurrence. Always be mindful next time my friend.
It's more better to avoid them. Than falling prey to their trap!
