What's on your mind today? I woke up with a smile today for the first time since November 2022. This was the saddest Christmas I have ever had. I missed the loved ones that got their wings in the last four years, my brother was killed from a tractor accident, my ex husband got a lung disease (he never smoked) and passed away within two months but the hardest one of all was last year when Chris, my oldest son, died suddenly. I cried most of December from depression , sadness, and loneliness. I have had severe depression since I was a teenager. I'm not telling you this to make you feel sorry for me but to be happy for me. But please do feel sorry for Kyle because I gave him hell during December. I didn't work at WA at all and I changed my mind every few days and used Kyle as my sounding board. Thank you my friend.

You see it's amazing how God works. We don't know what is going to happen to us or in our lives from day to day. The one thing we can be sure of is that God stays with us during the good, the bad and the ugly! He puts people in our lives, like Kyle, to help him put up with crazy people like me. Kyle doesn't even know God was using him to help this old woman out.

I just wanted to let you peeps know why I was missing in action. I'm sure lots of you had a Merry Christmas celebrating Jesus' birthday. But lots of us, like me, let depression get at us! If any of you deal with depression or have someone in your lives dealing with it, give yourselves a break. Get out of bed with a smile on your face this morning and say "Good morning God"; NOT good god it's morning!!

Dear Madam Bickman.
I am sorry for my tardy response. A lot happens during this season from Christmas to the New Year. So five days later, what is on my mind?

I am grateful that my life partner returned safely back to me from her journey back and forth from her annual journey to visit her Grand Children in another country.

November 22 was an important day for you. You started early in reflection for the next few moments that were about to arrive.

You started to miss the loved ones that lost their wings.

My father lost his wings in 2013. My mother lost her wings in 2018.

During the Covid, we lost an entire family back home in India: My father's brother, his wife, and their two children.

It was devastating especially when Covid was surrounded around mith and scams.

Locally, my brother-in-law spent 22 days on a ventilator.

He survived but is not the same.

Listen.

Don't ever worry about Kyle Loudoun and Carson Lim. They completely understand and are always here for our support. I'm sure that apologies are accepted for your circumstances.

As far as "How God Works," that is a personal story. Look how Kyle "pulled you through?" If he did not believe in the concept of "God" then you would have been left behind. Am I correct?

Madam Bickman...

Depression is an "Ugly" event. I experience it often. I also experience "Anxiety" from time to time which results in "Panic."

In any of these cases,
take a "Deep breath" and come back to yourself.

If you cannot, reach out for some assistance.

You are not alone.

I am guilty of not replying to you sooner.

Please accept my apologies and try to return the same with a certain level of gratitude that you can give.

Kindest regards from Canada,

Paul Mindra.

2

PAUL, you owe me no apologies! Just being a friend who knows and understands what I need is the best gift you could possibly give me. Take care of your loved one now that she is back home to you.
Deep breath Barbara

Blessings,
Barbara Hickman

Love you as I love all others. With kindness, respect and regard for others.

Peace, love, and light, from Canada.

Paul.

Hellow sunshine.
Christmas is not what it is touted to be.
For many, it is a time of depression and a time to reflect.
Won't say too much more.
Peace, love, and light to you MS Bickman.

Paul from Canada.

Hang in there. One creator for all will do.
If we can understand the concept of one, then we can move forward to our final journey.

What is a "Peep?"

Christmas was lonesome as it always is. But that is a good time to get through to Christ.

Christ is over 2000 years. And he/she is everlasting.

I found someone called Nanak in actual modern history.

He actually started monotheism.

I am learning more and more every day.
Thank you for your post.

Nice. And try to remain well.

Paul Mindra from Canada.

Do I need community help with this?
I think I should not bother them.

Thank you Paul, you are a kind person. Oh yeah, peeps is slang for people.

Blessings,

Do not worry about what others think -I am in your shoes as well as many others here in WA. We have all had losses, it is a normal thing that we experience as we go through life. We often find ourselves being sorrowful and depressed but when you really think about it our loved ones are in a much better place. Because God says in His Word "We Never Die" our bodies yes, but we live on through Him. So, keep your head up Girl let the depression go and be joyful that those you have lost are in Heaven looking down on you whispering "Hey! We are Here! looking out for you."

His Word "We Never Die"
"Hey! We are Here! looking out for you."

I am now following you, Mutef.

You've got it! He NEVER leaves or forsakes us! He NEVER leaves us to walk this path alone.

I, with you, thank Kyle for being a faithful brother to help you get through this.

When you have faith, you never really lose your loved ones. You will just meet them on Heaven's shore. This is called"the blessed hope".

Keep smiling. You really do have something to smile about.

Thank you WBlaisure,
