Blessings
When I woke up this morning I did not think about all the blessings God has given me. As my morning went on, my mind embraced the loneliness I felt. The memories of past days with my loved ones came in abundance causing tears to flow. As I wiped them from my eyes I felt the presence of God. Barbara, He said, you are not alone as I am with you in all things. I then picked up my laptop and looked at WA and thought about we are all family because God made us all, each and every one whether you believe it or not. He is in total and absolute control of all of us. He gives us freedom to make our own choices in this short life on earth. Boy, have I made some awful decisions during the course of this life He blessed me with. Well you know what? It's ok that I screwed things up because He taught me some valuable lessons through each and every mistake I made that made me the person I am today. And I like me! Yes people, I said it, I like me. My God blesses me abundantly everyday because I am His child and He loves me. So I thank Him for all of those blessings he has given me and for all the blessings ahead of me that He has stored up for me. I ask him to bless me abundantly today so I can bless all of you at WA through Him. Ya'll have a blessed day!

Hello Barbara,
Thanks for an inspiring post! Indeed God reminds us that we are blessed.
I get lonely sometimes too, it is only natural to want to feel included.
That is why I come here to WA so often to the communities care.
All the best my friend.
Kind regards
Erica
You are amazingly and wonderfully made. God's works are marvelous. He made you. Yes we can have up and down days, and life is a continual learning experience.
What you choose to speak, believe, and focus on really matters. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." What you put in, who you hang out with, what you say, these things have a huge impact on your life.
Every day I wake up and say, 'thank you Lord for this new day.' Remember to speak out loud what you are thankful for. I had eye surgery in 2019, and I say, 'thank you Lord that I can see, and thank you that you are continuing the renewal, blessing, strength, and clarity of my eyes.'
Remember to ask for wisdom and guidance, and an open mind for improvement.
Also it helps to speak out loud God's promises from the Bible, verses, even words of blessing, thanks, or exhortation to others. Even saying thank you to the McDonald's drive through clerk is shining rays of sunshine into their life. The tongue of the wise brings healing, vs. having reckless or hateful words.
It is also important to 'be real' and own up when you are slacking or dropping the ball. Don't wallow in it, just note the slack and then take concrete action to do something different.
May you and all here have a blessed and renewed day. Remember to smile too. :)
I think when we forget to be grateful for what we have, we tend to lose sight of the spiritual in our life. We must never forget that the spiritual and that God, however we wish to see Him/Her/The Source is at the center of things and gives us what we need, not necessarily want.
When we forget the Spiritual, we tend to go off in a million different directions, and our attitude reflects our forgetfulness. That's why prayer and/or meditation is so important. It gets us back in touch with the Spiritual and Spirit who is always there in the center of our mind/Subconsious. We just have to learn to listen. :) You'll get there! You've got this with the grace of the Divine! :)
Thanks Barbara. I start my day getting up by thanking my Great Universe for another day. We have never been alone from the start until the end.
We are blessed with an unconditional love that is filled with compassion and forgiveness in all things. Forgiving ourselves is easier when as you stated, we look at life being full of lessons.
If we were perfect, life would be pretty boring.
I can tell you, my life is far from boring. It's been a hard road to forgiving myself but God told me "I don't make no junk!".
It's amazing how the presence of God can be felt so deeply when we are in troubled times. In the darkest time of my life, He came to the rescue. A presence I've never felt before. I followed, and was led to a much better place; one I never thought existed.
Fruits of the Holy Spirit
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.
Anything else is rotten fruit and you MUST throw it away!
God Bless!

God has blessed me with a WA family who loves me,
With friends who are always there for me,
With a heart that is open to love,
With a mind that is eager to learn,
With a soul that is filled with hope,
And with a future that is waiting to be explored.
God has blessed me with the ability to see the beauty in life,
Even when things are tough,
To feel the joy in every moment,
And to know that His love is always with me.
How awesome! You can feel the love and joy from your words Juliako. God bless you.
