It's time to get serious!

Hey Guys! I've been a Wealthy Affiliate member for a over year and I have not earned anything yet. I think there's a few reasons for it and there's alot I'm changing to make it happen in 2020.

1. My niche (travel) is very competitive and my content was largely broad covering topics that are already covered well. When you look in google and you're going up against some really authoritative posts, posting similar content it's understandable you're going to get crushed.

2. My blog posts were too short. 1000 words even is not enough. I'm aiming for 1500 words minimum now going up to 4000 words

3. Controversial comment - I relied on Jaaxy too much. Not to say it's not useful, but the best tool to find topics really is the Google search engine itself, searching and seeing who the high ranking sites are

4. Inconsistency- I wasn't writing enough on a weekly basis.

5. It's all or nothing- I wasn't prepared to put myself out there enough on video, no attention to Pinterest or anything. Kyle's advice is to keep content a priority. I completely agree but once we've posted a blog. Anything we can do to encourage people to look at it will help.

I'm standing in a coffee shop right now just about to head into work. Theres so much id rather be doing.

All I have on my mind is the prospect of this program working. But I won't knock it until I've give it everything. I'm writing this post to get these thoughts off my chest but also to reach out to others out there in the same boat.
