Can someone please tell me the difference between the Online Entrepreneur Certification - Getting Started course and the Affiliate Bootcamp?
I just need to know that I am
Dear Beverly, I started the entrepreneur certification first and decided to also start the affiliate bootcamp. Simultaneously is interesting because both are a bit different. But if you are a newbie at this, I would recommend the Entrepreneur Certificate first. It is a bit slower going and also fun because you are accomplishing something each time, bit by bit. The Affiliate Bootcamp seems a bit faster and more difficult. Hope that helps and best of luck to you!
Thank you very much. If I was having any doubt at all, you have now cleared things up for me. I appreciate it
I like to tick small achievements off as I go to see my progress and yes I am completely new so I think that is the path for me for sure.
I have now made a decision, off to EC I go. Thanks again.
Glad I could help and I think ticking off small achievements helps you get to your goal. I think a good quote is "steady as she goes" because you need to take small chunks at a time or learning all of this becomes too immense.
When I first started the entrepreneur certification was easier for me to grasp now I am doing bootcamp
Thanks Katie, that seems to be the route most people have traveled and are recommending so I will switch paths.
I love the sound that it will be easier as well. Woo hoo.
lol as I knew nothing of this the cert, route helped me ease into things and learn how WA worked to, bootcamp is a bit more in depth but I am enjoying that slow as I maybe
If you know nothing about setting up a website and all the terms related, the certification course is much more extended than the bootcamp
Hmmmm! Now I am really confused. Thanks Loes. I appreciate your input.
Should I go back and start with the certification program then?
I have just set up my website and put in the about me and privacy policy section in the affiliate bootcamp.
I was a total nitwit, and did the certification course 3 times, then I started the bootcamp, and I have times I am really stuck in there
lol. I am the queen of nitwits Loes. Totally lost. So should I change direction now and go to the certification course or continue with bootcamp?
Trust me, I need to do what is the easiest to follow. :)
Certification course
and you can start-up a WA promotion website on that course too, and then complete it by following the bootcamp after finishing the certification course.
Thanks Loes. I was hoping just to have one website but I will follow your lead as I know you are speaking from experience.
So confusing as a beginner. I guess I will also need another domain name now or are you saying I can do everything on the one website but just start with the certification?
So sorry for all the questions.
I will hop out of bootcamp and get started on certification.
You can start with the siterubix, one website, promote WA in the certification course, when it gets mature you will probably find a perfect domainname for it, that same website you can take into the bootcamp too, then you can decide what domainname is the most suitable for your website. Don't rush it, it will come to you when you are ready.
I was a bit confused at first. I started the certification course which was all great training and I will go back to it. The boot camp is focussed on building a site for the promotion of the WA affiliate program. Probably that is the quickest and easiest way to go for your first site.
If you have a particular affiliate or PC in mind you could go for the certification course. You will be around here for a while so choose whichever you like and follow it through the rewards (not just financial will come)
Bob
Thanks Bob. I thought I "had it" and now I am questioning it all again.
If I go with the WA bootcamp, I am still able to promote my other affiliate links on my website as well as promoting WA yes?
I guess it will become more clear as I go along but want to get it right at the beginning.
The training at WA will make you ready for any type of internet marketing. Boot camp is focussed on WA affiliate marketing but I don't believe it is exclusive. It will get you up and running fast but the website is yours to do whatever you want. My plan is to have one site that markets WA and Jaaxy for which boot camp is ideal preparation. But in time I will have 3 to 4 other sites using other affiliates and PPC. There is a huge amount of training here that eventually will fit you for any kind of marketing.
Bob
Thanks Bob, appreciate your response. I did plan on just having only one website to keep my work load down. Decisions, decisions!
Either way, you are doing the right thing. If you have your own niche then you go to the certification courses. But if you want to promote WA, then the bootcamp is your option.
You're welcome, Beverly. Keep moving on with what you have already started here @ Wealthy Affiliate until you see your dreams come true. The Dream That Is Meant to be Lived Enjoy another fabulous week in your WA journey!
The certification courses are focused on providing generic information that can be used for any niche. The Bootcamp is designed around promoting WA as the niche.
Thanks very much. If I do the bootcamp and promote WA, I am still able to promote other making money products on my website correct?

Is there any way I can copy and paste content from a page I was writing on my website and then paste it onto another page on my site?
Yes. Just copy the content from the page. Then go to your website builder, click on page then click on edit. Paste your content there. On your right, you will see an "Update" button. Click on it to update the new page.Hope that helps.

How do I log into my Wordpress Admin area?
That is a good question you might want to now google analytics it helps with seo all in one I hope I'm not jumping to much forward.
Phew! That sounds above my head at the moment Edward lol, without having a tutorial in front of me to understand what I am doing and why. Thanks very much for your help though.
ok there are two places you can find it go to your website dashboard, it will be at the top of the page or in your plugins. you get it already installed when you start up your website
It should be activated if you need to check go to plugins and you should see it listed just click activate and your good to go
Just found a newer training on this topic. Thanks for all your help guys. Just one question that is not in the training, do I keep Canonical URLs clicked and also do I keep Set Protocol For Canonical URLs on Auto? The other option for this is HTTP and HTTPS.
Thanks everyone for your help however the tutorial is very different to what I see. This is what I have when I click Plugins on the side panel. Now I am not sure if I simply click the box or is it more detailed than that? ........ All In One SEO Pack

Yes, the tutorial was made a few versions ago, so it will look different and some of the settings have been automated within the plugin so they don't need to be manually set up.
Below is a more recent tutorial on YouTube.
https://youtu.be/fpuj8KVVg9w
Also make sure that you go to the Features section and Activate the Sitemap, which is not mentioned in the WA lesson probably because that feature was not included when the tutorial was made. ~Jude
If you are building your site with WA hosting, the plugin should already be installed and you just need to activate it and follow the training to set it up. Digger 12 has already given you the link.
If you are building a site hosted outside of WA, then you will find the plugin to download:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/
~Jude
Thanks judebanks, I am building with WA hosting however the tutorial is different to what I am seeing.
Go to your Dashboard, then Plugins, where it says Installed Plugins, click that, then you need to Activate the plugin.
As I am typing this, I see below that other members have answered, :P
But did you get what you needed? Do you need further help? Can you login now?
Thanks Jena7. As you can see I am still stuck. Do I simply click the box that says All in one SEO pack?
If you're not using WA for your, type in your regular domain URL then /wp-admin. This is how you sign in. All in One SEO should already be installed! If not, you could always find it I'm sure and activate the plugin yourself. Hope this helps :)
