All personal growth involves change

Personal growth is the process of responding positively to change. It involves risk as you step from the known to the unknown.

All your growth will depend on your activity. Your strength and growth will come only through continuous effort and struggle. There will be no development without effort.

Trouble is the common denominator of living. It is the great equalizer of life. Your trials, your sorrows and your grief's will develop you.

When good or bad fortune comes your way, you must give it meaning and transform it into something of value.

What happens to you is not as important as your reaction to what is happening.

I totally agree with you. The crucial thing imo is to look at the situation without any perjudice and inclination.

Dead right Kerry,

As I put on my website...If you keep on doing what you've always done you'll keep on getting what you've already got...or words to that effect.

No effort, no change!

Mark

Well said!

Great post. Everything we go through in life is to help us learn and grow. To help us stretch, and become. As we become more than we are now, we will find more success than we have yet to have found.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger eh.

Very inspiring post Kerry, thank you for sharing:)

Kerry you bring back memories. My Father had Huntington's disease. He was told he would not stand up within three months and be a vegetable within the year. The brain wa shrinking and there was no way to stop it There was no way around it. We set to prove them wrong. It was difficult but he walk small steps and walk for at least 2 hours a day to start. He force himself to talk He used his hands. Six months later he wanted to take a vacation that involve a lot of walking. No one said it could be done but himself and I He started walking faster each day on vacation,he ate and drank more. Two weeks later he was walking straight as a stick fast as can be. eating and drinking well. He got all his mussels back lost all his shakes and live a normal life for 12 more years. They took a cat scan and said by thinking positive and working hard he repaired his brain

Wow, this is an inspiring testimony. Our attitude can lead us to success or failure. This is why we need the conviction that we can make it. thanks for sharing Brian.

Ahhh ....However, dear fellow member....

Remember.
We are Spirit beings also.
We can command life to conform to our commands .. without a struggle.
Based on the Laws of Attraction and confession..

Napoleon Hill's Books alerts us to those Spiritual Laws.

Well said Kerry, and a misfortune or struggle gives the knowledge or wisdom to help someone else get through it or avoid it...............................Marty
