How to Use Gemini AI

I thought I would walk you through my process for talking to Gemini and getting things done. I will give you an example. I was having trouble getting my links to turn blue, so I asked Gemini what was wrong. Now Gemini will not just answer that one question. It will reach beyond that. It gave a long list of actions to do to get my links to turn blue. At the end of all those actions, it asked me if I wanted to change the color of my links to match the text on my logo? I thought it was a very interesting concept, so I said yes. And we started down another rabbit hole!

That is how Gemini and I work together. Now let me share HOW I complete the process. I decided that the best way for me to work is to deal with each specific action one at a time. I only have one monitor, so I have to make due. I opened one window for Gemini, one window for my actual website and one window, sometimes 2, for my back office. I ask Gemini a question, and say I get 5 different procedures in a row. For example, Gemini might list #1 as Open Appearances-Menus. That is the first step. I then open my back office menu and do exactly what it says to do. When I finish that, I go back to Gemini and follow step #2. I will be instructed to click on "view "all. I then go back to the back office and do as instructed. I keep doing this as instructed. Now there will be occasions where the tab it is telling me to click on is not exactly as it instructed. Rather than make a mistake, I clarify the instruction to make sure I am doing it right. I may toggle back and forth 2 or 3 times. I keep doing this process until I have completed the task. I also tell Gemini exactly what I have done as we move along. That keeps clarity between us. During this process, it may ask me to open my website and see if something worked. That is why I also keep a window open of my website. This process may be a little sluggish for some, but it works exceptionally well for me. Again, I am old and I can't remember several things at once like I used to. For some of you youngins, you might be able to do several steps at a time. Do whatever works for you. Using this method, I was able to complete tasks in leaps and bounds over several weeks. Another observation I made was not to work like this for more than 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I get very tired, and I think Gemini starts hallucinating. In the beginning, if I worked more than this, Gemini would start talking in circles, and around and around we would go. I would get very distraught and want to break the screen! I have found my sweet spot and what works for me. I am moving mountains now! Let me know if this works for you! Take care.
