Mother's Day is always a special memory for my husband and I. It was May 13, 1984. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant. We decided to take our Austin Healy and drive down the coast in California. We spent the entire day bouncing around in that car. We decided to take a picture of me next to the car on Skyline Blvd. It turned out to be the last pregnant picture as our bundle of joy was born the next day! The Healy was very close to the ground, and we felt every bump. All that bouncing caused me to go into labor 2 weeks early. My husband did not buy me flowers that Sunday because he said I was not yet a Mom! He felt really bad the next day, and went out and bought me flowers. So every 7 years our son's birthday falls on Mother's Day. It is a two-for-one special! Happy Mother's Day to all MOMS!
