When Things Go Sideways

I have been diligently working on my site, 3 + hours everyday. I have been on a roll and everything was falling into place. I was exhilarated and excited as everything was going as planned. That was -- until it didn't.

I had a very long and detailed article that I had already published. I decided to go back and add pictures. I connected to Gemini and spent hours finding pictures, sizing them and placing them in my article. We were nearing the end, and I had placed 7 pictures in my article. I was so elated, as I was counting on re-publishing that article. I had not posted a new article for several days, and my impressions had fallen 36 points! I did not even know that could happen, but I figured it was because I had not posted. So, I was excited and totally exhausted, and looking forward to getting it posted.

I started having trouble with the SAVE feature. I could not get the article to save. Then I got a warning across the top "response is not a valid JSON response? What the ??? I decided I had better look at my article on my website. YIKES! The article was all over the place. Text was running vertically in columns where it should not have been, pictures were in different places and text was even under "Recent Content" on the right?? I spent the next hour trying numerous things with Gemini, and nothing changed? After 4 hours, I had enough. I had to quit. I was hoping the system would catch up by this morning and things would be fine. NOPE! No such luck! It is still a disaster. So--- l will be tackling this again later today.

Sometimes s**t happens! Things were going too well. But guess what? When these things happen, just walk away. Come back fresh and start again. If I can't fix it properly, I may have to delete the whole thing and start over. I do have all the text saved and the pictures in my media library, so that may be my option. But I will give it another shot first. My point is to not let disappointments stop you. Find a way to make it work. My Mom had a saying she used all the time: "Where there is a will, there is a way!" I have followed this all my life. It is so true. Now, to lunch. And when we get back, I will be trying to solve this problem. Take care.
