Successfully Indexed
I just got the notice that my website has been successfully indexed by Google. That's a huge boost for me, as I know indexing leads to traffic, which I hope will eventually lead to sales.
If you haven't reached this stage of the journey yet, you may be wondering if it will ever happen. It will! Just follow the lessons and be sure to give and get feedback when the lesson asks you to.
Here's what it took for my site to be indexed:
- Five pages (in addition to the About and Policy pages)
- Two blog posts
- 4 comments received and replied to
It doesn't look like much, but it sure did seem to take a long time to get there, LOL. But I had a steep learning curve about keywords and such.
If you're still struggling to get the bones of your site together, you can take heart at seeing how close you are.

Actually I have. I don't have a lot of posts yet, so I don't have a lot yet, but notably more than I did before it was indexed.

I have to do the same! Happens almost every day with each lesson. Stick with it is all I can do, but my learning curve is great. I'd have never made it without all of our peers and mentors!
