Here at last.
Well it's only taken me about a year to find Wealthy Affiliates.After retiring from my business and having had a few months to get used to being retired. I decided it's not for me. I have expensive taste and my pension does not facilitate the cost of my little luxuries, such as perfume, my car.etc. so I decided that as my husband is no longer fit to build anymore and needs me at home, it was about time I looked at using my business talents to develop an income on-line. As most people know, this is not an easy task. I have seen so many scams and flashy adverts on-line, and the one thing they all have in common is a load of rubbish video's showing fast cars and flashy mansions. I am sure that some people fall for this and give these undesirables their hard earned money and get a load of nothing in return. I suppose because I have to watch my money I have not fallen for any of these scams. When I found Wealthy Affiliates the first thing I did was to read reviews. I have to say that they have all been very positive and this encouraged me to join. That was nearly a fortnight ago and I have to say that being a newbie at this game I have and am still struggling a bit building a website, but however hard the challenge I am determined to beat it. I find that the classrooms are extremely informative and the discussion section invaluable. It is great to get constructive help and suggestions to any problems. All in all, I think it is the best programme I have found and am enjoying the challenge even if it does mean having a brain ache most days. Still practice makes perfect as they say. I don't know about building a website in minutes, try months, weeks, days and hours are more appropriate as far as I'm concerned.
Hi Benson, really great to have you here at WA and I am happy that you found us. Nearly ever shiny object product out there is a complete and utter waste of time and money because they do not supply the training, support, or tools to build an online business. Many of those businesses are "theory" based because the owners have no idea what they are doing and they are preying on unsuspecting people who are genuinely wanting to build businesses.
You are going to setup your website very quickly here at Wealthy Affiliate and once it's setup you will learn how to get ranked, get traffic, and generate revenue.

Take your time Pam, there is no rush and you can work at your own pace. I suggest spending time writing content for your website at this time. The more content you can publish on your site, the better you will rank and more traffic you will generate. If you would like to publish some short stories then you could do so on StreetArticles.com. Your Wealthy Affiliate blog is intended for you to document your Internet business journey, ask questions, network with others, and talk about your site :)
